Hello my friends,

first of all, I am very thankful for all that you do, just by reading these forums the past days I've already gained very valuable and helpful information.

I am a professional basketball player from Brazil and I am currently playing in Austria. I also have an european passport (dual nationality), which is what I use to play in Europe. My fiancée and I have met in 2011 when I was a student-athlete at a university in the U.S.

Our doubt is: as a Brazilian citizen, am I allowed to have my interview and all the k-1 processing through a U.S. Embassy at a country other than Brazil, in this case at the Vienna Embassy in Austria?

Thank you to all in advance for reading this!

Are you living in Austria? If so then yes. My fiancé has a similar case except without dual citizenship. He was born in Peru and only has a Peruvian passport but has lived in Brazil almost his entire life as a permanent resident. We listed Rio as his embassy and in less than a month he will have his interview there.

Yes, I am living in Austria. But your case answers my question!! Thank you so much for helping! God Bless you and your fiancé as you move on with the visa process!
