I've added the service center transfer field to the timeline system. It is not on the timeline list (filters there too). A few other minor mods along the way. Hoping to make the system even better -- comments and suggestions welcome... reply below!

I shall test this out at once, milord. Thanks for listening to my suggestion.

Edit: Alright, having looked at it I have one or two more suggestions on it. Would it be possible to add a "Date transferred" field? And when you view a individual user's timeline could it then show where it was transferred to and the date in a couple of fields? Not saying to have it affect the estimate at the bottom or anything, but that way in the future you might be able to get data on how long transfers take and all from NOA-T to NOA2.

Otherwise, definitely a good start.

Pretty much, aye. And then if it all shows up on an individual user's timeline as well, that might help if someone has an issue with a transfer later on down the line. And also it means that potentially you can extrapolate data if you wanted.

Updated. Now in the profile. It will show the location if transferred (and the date if a person enters it). :)

I am sending an email to all new members that joined this year letting them know this change was made. Hopefully we get lots of new updates to add this historical data into the system!

I hope so. Also, looks great to me, exactly how I envisioned it when I suggested it. good.gif

some cases are expedited and their timelines may bend the estimated time for adjudication of normal cases. so there cud be an option to say if your case is expedited or not so it doesn't interfere with the normal trend many use.

I have a suggestion. Since you added this field in the timeline, is there any way to update igors list to show a "transferred field" like you have for rfe's? That way when you do a search on igors list it will show all the ones transferred and the date

i have a suggestion too: in the timeline stats there's an option to show only DCFs or everything including DCFs, could there be a 3rd option 'everything excluding DCFs'? I find myself missing it quite frequently.

and +1 here. That'd be really nice as well.

I'm the beneficiary.

Don't have a timeline? Don't know how to get started with it? Do it for the statistics sake: VJ video guide

Filing for a USC spouse visa (IR-1/CR-1) and not sure what comes next? Check out the VJ IR-1/CR-1 guide

Want to know what's happening with your case? Here's the USCIS tracking page (get an account and see if the case's been 'touched'!). Don't get your hopes up though, some cases never even appear there despite being successfully processed.
