So we just got a notice from USCIS saying they are processing my wife's I-129F and transferring it to the Texas Service Center.

GREAT!

Except that my wife was issued her GC in March and has been in the U.S. living with me for six months now (we filed the I-129F to get her a visa to live with me while her I-130 was processed, but the I-130 was approved before the I-129F even got touched, so we got through the whole process while I was deployed and got her here in great time).

I had been told by USCIS that since the I-130 had been approved, the I-129F was "obsolete" for me.

What I'm saying is this: she is now a permanent resident green card holder, has been living in the U.S. for six months, been issued a Social Security Number, and has been reported on my taxes. What does this mean for us? I'm gonna call USCIS on Monday to see what the deal is, but should I be worried or is this just a clerical error that could be cleared up with a phone call?

I am the USC.

The member "Khaleesi" is my beautiful wife.

This is common. A while back it was like they had reset the system and people were getting updates years late.

Just ignore it.
