None of which are 'races' in any biological terms .The most that can be said is that black people have a different heritage than white people and a more divers genetic variation, but even that doesn't say much. The fact is that black and white people are part of the human race, with all its diversity. Discriminating between these 'races' is pointless and stupid.

There is a grip safety which disengages the sear. The sear has no function unless the handgun is gripped and held in a shooting manner. The handgun is also fitted with a firing pin lock which is connected to the trigger. Unless the trigger is pulled and held to the rear the firing pin is locked in place. A sear failure while the gun was being held in a firing position but NOT caused by a pull of the trigger (extremely unlikely) would result in the hammer falling on a locked firing pin and no AD (accidental discharge)

The gun was designed to be carried exactly like this 102 years ago and has a long history of being totally safe to be carried in that manner. It has been "improved" with the firing pin lock since the early 1980s. Basically a solution to a problem that never existed,,,but no harm done. I will trust the talents of JM Browning over people ignorant of firearms any day

Unless held in a firing manner and the trigger pulled to the rear AFTER manually disengaging the thumb safety, no discharge can occur. Not to say you could not accidentally shoot yourself or someone with this gun, but it could happen only if the gun were held and readied for firing. It is not going to just "go off" in your holster or if you drop it, if you hold it properly, disenage all the safeties and pull the trigger, it WILL fire. By then you should have it pointed at a perpetrator trying to smash your head on the sidewalk. GZ got it right.

No effect. GZ was acquitted. Case closed. If they were no tready they should have postponed the trial.

It refers to the Caucasus Mountians in Southern Russia, SE Ukraine. The cradle of the caucasion race. Nice Anthropological Museum in Odessa, Ukraine reagrding this bit of history. Interesting place, right near the city hall if you ever get there. Oddly enough Hitler claimed to be superior over the more perfectly caucasion Russians and Ukrainians. Weird. But he killed 25 million of them nonetheless. In 4 years. far more suffering than ever inflicted on blacks, indians, Irish and Chinese combined in this country. How easily we forget that white people suffered more than any other race, no tto mention hundreds of years of slavery in Russia.
