Sigh. You're a racist, just let it go. The only time you even want to have a conversation about this is when you want to put black people down. You don't care, this is why I've stopped trying to talk to you about it. I posted so many links about the social, economy, legal, and educational denials that the black race has to face on a regular basis, and you've ignored them. When I posted positive stories, you can't say a damn thing. But if it's a murder or something negative, you're in here like it's Christmas.

Where were you when I posted about the black kid genius going to college? Or the black college kids who went into a store when no one was there and still paid for everything? You've memorized the black crime rate and use it as some kind of social checkmate when it comes to gun crime so you can keep yours. You've tried talking slang to me because that's how you see me. You've posted videos with the N word when you knew way before I don't condone or use the word. You've been called out a few times about it, but you keep at it.

I at least do something positive. On the weekends I go home and talk to teens about joining the military or going to school and doing something with their lives. Because as my coworker pointed out, talking about it with folks like you don't do any good. What have you done for the black community Himher since you are so concerned?

Your stories are offered as if they are something special and they are not. They only represent minimum acceptable behavior in civilized society and as such your examples should be the rule, not the exception. There is no special reward or kudos due for acting in a minimally acceptable way sorry.

Otherwise I was right here. Same place you were when I posted the story from Stillman e-bunking your fake speech. You missed my comments on Stillman though. You know, the ones where I said they went there to learn and didn't even have a football team. Probably because those comments contradicted (e-smacked) your racist breeding theories and man do you go quiet after an e-smack. The silence is golden 'lemme tell ya'.

You actually, if all were equal, and all is not, deserve to be fired from your job, blacklisted from your career, and skewered in the media for that racist comment, the same as a white person would be and has been for saying the exact thing. All is not equal, so you are free to move on with and share your racist ideas but it's probably not the brightest idea ever offered to expect them to be welcome here.

Every day that I go to work and my check is cut for it I am 'helping the black community'. It would be good for you to represent them by shutting down your excuse making for their negative and self-destructive choices and bowing your head in a sincere thanks for my contribution, then follow up on that with a blistering lecture to your fellows to stand on their own two feet and stop taking it. It should also be noted that they are owed nothing from me however so my responsibility towards the black community ends at yielding to them the (currently wasted but there is always hope, right?) right to govern, educate, and help themselves with no interference from me. Anything beyond that is certainly not owed and I find it highly amusing when you and others allude that it is.

i don't get it.

And he's not the only one. Dreadlocks aren't a sure sign of being a gangster. You need to stop that line of thinking.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dreadlocks

And there is no such thing as black english, it's called slang.

I have no problem with acting appropriately in the workplace. It's what you should do. But how much change do we have to endure in order for us to be treated as normal? We can't have "black" names because it scares you. We can't have afros and dreadlocks because you don't like it. We can't wear anything but suits and ties because pants and a hoodie mean you're a killer. Sounds like free will isn't on the table if you're black.

People are expected to dress appropriately at work. Same with grooming. It's just they way it is. Companies are not required to hire anyone. This guy is white, and i think he might have an issue finding a job.

My point is, the black folks with PhD and Masters, what do you think they look like? They don't have tats on their faces or piercings in their lips. They look and act professional. So what's the problem? Why do you need to change your name in order to get a look?

What a crock.

A lesson on free will: I or anyone can exercise my free will to be a pimp or street hustler then I can look unkempt and unprofessional too. Unfortunately (at least in my office) saggy jeans and a hoodie is not acceptable, even for white people so I exercise my free will and wear whatever it takes to get to come to work to feed myself and my family. I have to "endure" (laughing) looking professional unfortunately.

From Monster:

Q: What is Monster Diversity and Inclusion? Top

A: Monster Diversity and Inclusion is a section of Monster.com for job seekers who are members of specific communities, such as women, African Americans, Asian Americans, Native Americans/Pacific Islanders, workers with disabilities, gay/bisexual and lesbian workers, and older workers.

The Monster Diversity and Inclusion site allows employers to reach these diverse communities by placing their job postings on the Diversity & Inclusion Network (i.e., the Diversity and Inclusion site and partner sites such as NAACP.com, BET, Hispanic online, Essence, Gaywork.com, and the Community Connect Inc. sites , as well as on Monster.com, and to reach these groups via targeted advertising on the Monster Diversity and Inclusion site and on the Community Connect Inc. sites.

Promoting diversity is an important aspect of many companies' overall recruitment strategies, in order to build a workforce based on equal opportunities given to qualified job seekers of all nationalities and backgrounds. The Diversity and Inclusion Site and related products were created in response to feedback from many companies nationwide that are seeking ways to expand diversity in the workplace, while complying with legal requirements. Companies also wanted to hire an employee base that was reflective of their customers in the global marketplace.

Note: All jobs on the Monster Diversity and Inclusion Network are also posted in Monster's regular Job Search area. Seekers can view and apply for these jobs from both areas.

Looks to me that it is a place on the website so that companies CAN hire more minority workers. Yet minorities still b!tch about it.

I agree with you that it is racist. Companies should not be allowed to look specifically to hire minorities. That's racist. Just like Affirmative Action is racist. Just like racial quotas are racist.

I think he saw the e-smack coming and switched lanes

I answered you - Stillman - remember?

Oh no, I meant something putting blacks in a positive light. You're really struggling with this. You also never said why when the story is positive, you ignore it for some reason. Care to elaborate?

And I answered Karee already. Sorry, you aren't good enough to e-smack me.

Like Clarence Otis? or Ursula Burns? Aylwin Lewis? Rosalind Brewer?

They dress like white people though. Perhaps if you used them as examples instead of wasting your time sympathy hunting for saggy jeans and dreds you would get better response.

Why should you say you're a minority? Why can't your resume speak for itself? A diversity waiver to me and in this article seems to weed out POC's and NOT hire them.

AA doesn't help.

I've used several of positive members in the black community. You are absent in those threads.

There isn't much positive to find actually. However I have posted lots of positive stuff from Alan Keyes (but his quotes put black people in a bad light too LOL so maybe that's why you forgot), Colin Powell (same reason), and Condoleezza Rice. You and your community do not like these people so in your mind they don't count. The reason they don't count in your mind is because they share the same contempt for the bad choices made in your community as I do. They're probably closet racists.
