I was home for this one, on leave. If you want to see racism, take a good look in the mirror. Because honestly, you talk more about black people than I do.

So you said earlier that no black person in 25 years ever walked in and shot up city hall and now you are saying that you were actually home on leave when a city hall shooting happened. Those two posts are directly contradictory. Are you telling me that you were being........misleading on that 25 year thing? Because your little fib is starting to look deliberate. Wonder what else you're hiding....LOL not that it really matters

This thread is not about black people. It's about white people. You are the one who came in with your "poor us" ####### and now after getting e-smacked for your 25-yr BS the best you can do is scream "racist".

1. Racism: When a man and his family get beat up because of their skin color

2. Community racism: When a mayor and police chief decide they need "federal help" to determine if the above is a hate crime because they all have the same skin color

3. VJ racism: When someone with the same skin color comes in screaming "racism" because #1 and #2 are being discussed

4. What you and your community should be discussing: How a city, after 30 years of court ordered school desegregation, is finally abandoned in favor of the plaintiffs who are given full rights to self-determination and the best that can come out of it is that said city rises to the top (5) in murder rates out of 30,000 total cities and towns.

Do you have crickets or comment on this civil rights failure in Baton Rouge, La? Do you have any comment (other than your unwelcome and racist views on "breeding") on why you believe that this failure has been repeated in so many other places?

i don't get it.

Please post the links where you have post positive stories about black people. I would love to read them.

I posted this. Crickets from you though on why "American" black people show such abysmal performance in education, business, and family stability compared to immigrants with the same skin color.

In fact you ran like a scared little bunny from that article.

Actually I was talking to Danno, since talking to you is like talking Shakespeare to a chocolate bar.

Maybe it's because those blacks are subjects to drugs, poverty, high crime rate. Why don't you ask one of your black friends or coworkers?

Sigh. You're a racist, just let it go. The only time you even want to have a conversation about this is when you want to put black people down. You don't care, this is why I've stopped trying to talk to you about it. I posted so many links about the social, economy, legal, and educational denials that the black race has to face on a regular basis, and you've ignored them. When I posted positive stories, you can't say a damn thing. But if it's a murder or something negative, you're in here like it's Christmas.

Where were you when I posted about the black kid genius going to college? Or the black college kids who went into a store when no one was there and still paid for everything? You've memorized the black crime rate and use it as some kind of social checkmate when it comes to gun crime so you can keep yours. You've tried talking slang to me because that's how you see me. You've posted videos with the N word when you knew way before I don't condone or use the word. You've been called out a few times about it, but you keep at it.

I at least do something positive. On the weekends I go home and talk to teens about joining the military or going to school and doing something with their lives. Because as my coworker pointed out, talking about it with folks like you don't do any good. What have you done for the black community Himher since you are so concerned?

It's possible. That amount of self loathing is not common, but it exists. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_shame

And I think that is the main difference because you usually agree about the problems

What we don't agree on is this

I see it as white folks finally stopped beating black people down and started to try and lift them up, but black people did not take the help and keep beating themselves down. Most of the wounds now a days are self inflicted and more hud money, more food stamps, more welfare, more race based proportions are only going to make it worse.

Talking to me gets you nailed and reduces you to name calling like a playground schoolgirl and nobody likes that true. You said that nobody posts anything good about black people and you are now bunked, like you got bunked on the imaginary "25-yr" thing. Nobody likes to get bunked but that 'don't make' the person who bunked you a racist. It just makes you look logic-deficient. Your logic-deficiency is not my problem and one person's stupidity doesn't make the person who points it out a racist either. Just sayin'

Nobody is born "subjects" to drugs and nobody is born "subjects" from birth destined to commit crimes and it is a dam sure fact that immigrants from Somalia, who are included in this study, are born into far, far worse circumstances. Somehow they manage to rise above it, even wearing the same skin color as black people in America.

As to poverty, there is poverty in Malaysia. Why don't you ask YOUR wife why Kuala Lumpur doesn't look like Chicago or New Orleans or Atlanta or any number of other cities. Poverty leads to crime, drugs, and violence according to you. You must like getting bunked BUT it's become so easy truly that I have become bored with it. I told you once and I'll tell you again. Celebrating, dancing about, singing about, practicing tolerance for, making excuses for, hiding, and covering up crime and violence in a community, (you know, like you do) is what leads to crime and violence in that community

i don't get it.

This why we don't agree;

The beat down hasn't stopped. It has changed shape. The physical chains have been removed, true. But what about the mental ones? I'll elaborate.

You brought up a while ago about rap music and sports. Why do blacks go for that versus doctors and lawyers? It's easier to make money being a gangster rapper or a ball player because it keeps us from moving any further up in the class chain. Think I'm wrong? Chris Rock said it best, Shaq is rich, the guy who signs his check is wealthy. Plus, trying to get a better job is harder for a black person, it's been pointed out several times in studies. Folks have to change their names just to get a second look, because Darius with a PHD is not equal to Paul without one.

You want to know why blacks beat themselves down? Because whites have been doing it for centuries. It's been ingrained into our and your sub conscience. Scientific studies show that black women are the least attractive out of all women(bs). On dating websites, they are constantly snubbed in favor of white and asian women. Afros, you know our default hairstyle is banned in some schools as faddish. Black models have to be flawless in conception in order to get a job, where a white model can be normal. Black men are considered dangerous by the very virtue of being black.

Here's the scoop. In order for us to be treated as equals here we have to do one of two things:

1. We have to work twice up to three times as hard just to get our foot in the door. And that seems to be the only real option. Because folks don't want to fix the problem, it's easier if we just overcome the racism and sub standard treatment.

2. We have to change the entire black race. When one black person commits a crime, the entire race is blamed. I know white women who won't date black men because of something that happened to someone they knew, not them. Even here, all it takes is one and folks wishing we were back in the South back in the 50's.

Funny you should emotion someone Named Darius not being able to get ahead because of his black name. Ever hear of Darius Rucker. Former front man for hootie and the blow fish. He has recently taken country music , which is white dominated by storm I love his music. White America loves his music. He is one of the top country entertainers out there. Why. Because he is good no one cares that he is black. My ring tone is wagon wheel . Now ask yourself this. If he had insisted on having dreds droopy pants, and spoke black English and pushed rap music would he be successfully. Of course not because it would not be a fit, but yet in the work place blacks refuse to adapt to accepted behaviors and when they are not accepted it is racism. LiKe you have said. We would not want to be accused of acting white. Right ?

And he's not the only one. Dreadlocks aren't a sure sign of being a gangster. You need to stop that line of thinking.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dreadlocks

And there is no such thing as black english, it's called slang.

I have no problem with acting appropriately in the workplace. It's what you should do. But how much change do we have to endure in order for us to be treated as normal? We can't have "black" names because it scares you. We can't have afros and dreadlocks because you don't like it. We can't wear anything but suits and ties because pants and a hoodie mean you're a killer. Sounds like free will isn't on the table if you're black.
