Hey guys, I'm here in the US as a Student: Post- Completion OPT (work permit after completing my Bachelor's degree in the United States). My husband is in the military and we recently got married so we are preparing to file for AOS. I research online to find out what forms I need to file and till now I have these forms ready:

1. G-325a (both me and my husband) ; Bio-metrics for both of us

2. I-485 ; Application for Permanent Residence

3. I-130 ; Petition for Alien Relative (filed by my husband)

4. I-765 ; Application for Employment Authorization

5. i-864 ; sponser from my husband

And, do I have to file I-693 (medical form) if I'm already in the US?

Do I have to file any other forms and what do you suggest us to include as evidences while filing these forms? We are completely lost and stressed.

Thank you so much in advance for your help!

Hi!

I'm pretty much in the same situation at the moment. Adjusting from H1-B, just got married less than a month ago, and trying to get all our paperwork together as quickly as possible.

From what I've read in the forums, it seems pretty lkely that they will reject you if you dont send in the I-693 along with the rest of the forms.

Aside from the forms you already listed, I am also filing the I-131 for travel, and G-1145 for e-notification. For evidence we have things like rental agreement, joint bank account statement, both our names on a car title, joint car insurance policy, power of attorney from the military, military ID cards, Tricare enrollment, marriage certificate, joint Verizon phone bill. That's about it I think. Plus some pictures from the wedding and our relationship, but not TOO much. There's other types of evidence that people file too, but that's all we have :)

Good luck!
