F-1 student getting ready to submit everything (last minute questions)

You do NOT need to include transcripts, you do NOT need verification of employment (source: did not include them, approved, no RFE's). In my opinion, it is better to not second guess yourself right after sending the package. Everyone (including myself, even trying not to) ends up adding materials that are not actually required.

Hello there:

As I said, it is better to be overprepared than underprepared. Having said that it doesn't mean this is what was missing from your package, and this is why things slowing down for you. No, lots of people only include I-20 and they are fine (although don't know how long it took for them to get their card). So don't think I'm saying you won't get it if you don't have all these. Don't worry, you will be fine! In no time you'll be done. Good luck!

I really should have done but unfortunately I have on included the I-20. I should have shown my transcript since I have been a full-time college student with 15-18 credit hours for the past 4 years. 2 months!!? Wow, congrats. I hope I can get it fast too. No, you shouldn't have shown your transcript because it is not asked for or required, as explained already.
