Interview Calendar filling up FAST! (K1)

FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO BOOKED THEIR INTERVIEW ONLINE OR HAVE BEEN SUCCESSFUL IN RESCHEDULING ONLINE:

I need to know if after we picked our interview date if the ONLY thing we'll be able to see is the "First Available Appoint is <current soonest date>" once we log in again? To my understanding, the system doesn't reveal the calendar any longer (it only shows that message), but can someone tell me with absolute certainty that it is constantly updated to always show the soonest available interview date? Because if it's only updated once/day or some BS like that, especially after one schedules their interview then that's a big problem.

Otherwise we will just grab Oct 25 and not worry about "gambling" anymore.

  • 05/02/2013 - Left to visit my baby for the 3rd time!
  • 05/03/2013 - NOA1 Hardcopy received
  • 06/04/2013 - Flight back to the U.S.
  • 07/29/2013 - NOA2 (approval text) received (only 87 days since NOA1 Notice Date)
  • 08/02/2013 - NOA2 Hardcopy received
  • 08/14/2013 - Mailed all necessary post-NOA2 docs to sweetheart in preparation for her medical/interview!
  • 08/19/2013 - Manila Case # given by NVC (exactly 3 wks since NOA2)
  • 08/26/2013 - Manila Case # Hardcopy received, perfect timing for...

Do you know if the calendar is always updating in real-time if someone cancels? Or does it take some time to update? Yes, I hope more of these people canceling "all the time" starts to actually happen so we can get an earlier appointment!!!
