not to say that you are lying but there is NO WAY an LPR (green card holder) can file a 130 and get approved before a citizen

It is only the stand alone I-130s that go to the NBC so wherever it went could be faster. That being said LPR spuses require a current visa number and I thought the wait on that was long.

The LPR getting approved faster is probably because it was sent to VSC or CSC. Thanks to our completely clueless and misguided immigration system. i-130 files were moved from VSC and CSC to NBC when they got backed up. And NBC started sending it to local offices until they got overwhelmed. Then they started sending i-130 to an office that is yet to be started. Seems like a govt. sponsored musical chair.

My papers were accepted last march 29 and it's still in initial review while my friend's papers were approved after 3 months only! Whenever we call the uscis they just tell us to wait. We have no choice but to wait. Keep praying.

6/21/2013 -Married in Stockholm, Sweden 4/16/2014- Case received at NVC

9/6/2013 -Priority Date 5/13 /2014- Case number and IIN assigned

2/25/2014 -Transferred to NSC 5/20/2014- DS-261 completed

3/31/2014 -Approved 5/21/2014- AOS fee invoiced and paid

5/22/2014- AOS package overnighted to NVC

5/28/2014- AOS scanned into the system

6/20/2014- IV invoice email (but fee still locked on CEAC )

6/23/2014- IV fee finally unlocked and paid.

IV package overnighted to NVC

6/30/2014- IV scanned in. DS260 completed.

7/1/2014- AOS accepted

7/2/2014- False checklist (AOS reviewed)

8/1/2014 False checklist (attorney's G28 reviewed)

8/2/2014 False checklist (NVC not sure why it was generated)

it is a very frustrating process and you will need patience

take your frustrations and redirect them to reading posts for several hours ... your answers are all there

is your file at nbc?? maybe and maybe not

was it transferred? is it going to be processed at the new facilty?

lots of questions that will give you a better understanding of where you are

also, not to say that you are lying but there is NO WAY an LPR (green card holder) can file a 130 and get approved before a citizen unless they are on a work visa and did a thingy to get their wife here, but that too is questionable

there is no way a greencard holder can get their spouse approved before a USCs spouse. (unless they are already in the US and the spouse adjusts their status) Look at the chart posted by the USCIS. Then add time to what they posted.. (LOL) The processing times are longer than the posted estimates right now.
