please help-IN AP but embassy called husband for passport

So we been on AP for 4 months. Yesterday someone called from the embassy to talk to my husband. They told to drop off his passport. Is this good news? Can someone tell me? does anyone have experience in this?

There is only one reason they would ask for his passport.

Congrats Sarah, they only ask for passport when they are issuing the visa. Throw a party :)

Is it true everyone applying for husband or fiance is put on AP (administration process) in Afghanistan? Is it me or does this usually occur to the men being sponsored?

It's true and mostly men are in AP about 95% are placed in AP and another 5% gets visa right away.

So we been on AP for 4 months. Yesterday someone called from the embassy to talk to my husband. They told to drop off his passport. Is this good news? Can someone tell me? does anyone have experience in this?
