hi there! NOA2 august 21 here, called NVC last Tuesday sept 10 7am to check and they said they haven't received our file yet...I just called again Friday sept 13 7pm and viola! they gave us our case number finally and was told they received our file sept 10...so keep calling guys, it might be there as well already..goodluck everyone!

It took a month and a week for us to get NVC case number. NOA2 was AUG 7 from CSC, got case number today. My signature for your reference.

just an fyi.. no reason to call both nvc and dos.. they are accessing the same database

CONGRATS!!! Unfortunately Texas and Veront do not seem to slow in getting to the NVC. It seems that the consensus is that California is still playing the waiting game. Folks as far as July still do not have their Case numbers. Maybe they are going in batches. California did start sending NAO2's rather quick so maybe this is the penalty, now we have to wait longer for the NVC, so all in all it is equal from start to finish for all filing locations. Still stinks though when everyone got excited that they received NAO2 so fast and thought maybe would be waiting for packet 4 by now but oh well, good things come to those who wait!!!

Feb. 2013 - First conversation ( we met through a friend )
Mar 26, 2013 - First meeting in person, Manila
April 06, 2013 - He went back to US
April 15, 2013 - I-129F sent to USCIS
April 17, 2013 - I-129F delivered
April 19, 2013 - NOA1
April 23, 2013 - Alien Registration Number was changed
June 17, 2013 - Second Visit
July 31,2013 - RFE
August 06, 2013 - Return to US
August 08, 2013 - RFE reply sent. ( next day delivery service)
August 09, 2013 - RFE response received
August 13, 2013- APPROVED!
12nn - Received an email from Representative Staff that our petition is approved already. ( w/ email from USCIS officer )
8pm - Received email confirmation about the approval & Online Status Updated.
August 14,2013- got my BC & Cenomar ( waited 5mins for BC & almost 1 1/2hr for Cenomar)
August 15, 2013 - got my NBI ( total processing time from step 1 to releasing 1 1/2hrs)
August 23,2013 - CFO Attended, Got GCC. Sticker to follow.
Sep 18, 2013 - Got MNL Case # via Phone & Paid Visa Fee @ BPI
Sept 23, 2013 - Medical PASSED - 1 Day Only

Just thought I'd share. My case was sent to the Dept of State on 09/05/13 and today I called for the third time since then and was given my case number. My service center was originally VSC and then it was transferred to TSC. Just keep calling every so often eventually you will have good news.

by phone or you can wait an additional 1-2 weeks for regular mail

It felt so good and relieved after waiting for 111 days, we got our NOA2, August 20,2013 . I thought waiting game is over. But now it's been almost a month and still we do not have our case number...here we go again, the anxiety, frustration and the thrill every time my fiance calls at NVC and getting the same answer "wait for 8 weeks..."wow.gif

Hoping to get our case number soon!

Yeah same thing. 30 minute wait of obnoxious "your call is important..." then a 1 minute conversation from someone who sounded really annoyed that I would even call.

I don't understand why they are so angry. They only work 5 hour shifts. ;)

K1 AOS:

May 22nd: Sent away AOS package Day 1

May 27th: Notification via text/email confirming receiving package. Day 5

May 29th: NOA's recieved on 29th May Day 7

June 2nd: Biometrics appointment for June 16th arrives. Day 11

June 16th: Successful Biometrics. Day 24

I just called NVC and got the same as usual...... Call back in 8 weeks.......? was on hold for 33 minutes, called DOS straight after and was told to call back next week, got straight through without being on hold......

Not gonna bother with NVC again....
