Wanted to give an update on our interview (June 19th). We had a 10:45 appointment and arrived at 10:25. We checked in and went up to the 3rd floor where our interview was scheduled. We had to wait about an hour before our number was called. Our IO was a pregnant woman that my wife thought looked a little mean. On the way to her office we began talking about when she was due and my sister's twins that were recently born. That led to discussions about my family and how my wife went to help take care of the twins and 2 year old brother a few weeks ago. After about 15 min she said "ok, lets get started. This will be quick"

She then asked us our names, birth places, birthday, etc.

She never asked to see any additional documentation or pictures (we sent about 40 pages worth with the application) and told us we would get her green card in the mail. She then told us the process in two years for her next green card and said to send as many pictures as we did this time because we may or may not have an interview then.

All said the interview took 20 minutes and 15 of it was spent talking about her family and my family.

We just received text and email notifications today that her green card was mailed.

Congrats to all those who have been approved or interviews scheduled. It makes us a little jealous that Atlanta is moving so quickly after our timeline.
