It seems all recent approvals of i-130s are completed by the MSC/National Benefit Center....

No, it really doesn't. Even deltagal (April filer) was saying that hers was from a field office.

I'm the beneficiary.

Want to know what's happening with your case? Here's the USCIS tracking page (get an account and see if the case's been 'touched'!). Don't get your hopes up though, some cases never even appear there despite being successfully processed.

Sure! I don't expect them to give me any new info other than what tier-2 officer has already told me. WAIT WAIT WAIT....

Let us know how it goes.

I haven't made a call to USCIS in... 5 months or so. Since I call from abroad I can't do the callback option and have to sit there for hours. Maybe I'll bite the bullet and call today. Or better tomorrow. Not that I'll hear anything new, but at least you feel like you're doing something.

Well i'm hoping my husband finds time to do an infopass this week too - maybe he finds something out. :) Be strong, dude. We're all too far in it now. :D Can only move forward from here, i suppose.

Last time I called the tier 2 told me to wait till Nov 15 and I should hear something between nov 15 to early december. He also put in a service request for me and told me I should hear back in 3-5 business day (yea right!).

I agree. We are deep into this process aren't we. But the sad part is this is only the half part of our journey and god knows how long it will take.

Uncertainty is the worst part, yes.

Well they told me end of November. We are getting different response from them, don't know what to believe anymore. My wife gets so sad on phone as well and I have nothing to pass on to her other than telling her to wait. This pathetic process is taking a toll on many relations.

I wonder if that is the purpose of the long wait... to see how many relationships can stand the test of time...... but then again, how do you explain the 19 day turn-arounds for the UNMARRIED folks? You'd think they would make those folks wait to see if they really want to get married. We already made the commitment. It puts such a strain on everything.

I have been sick all weekend and the doctor today wants me to go for a CT scan tonight. They think its kidney stones.. I hate being alone. My husband feels bad that he can't do anything for me being so far away. He only gets to hear me cry...... Poor guy !

I totally understand. I feel so bad when my wife gets sick over there and I can't be with her, since the tickets are not that cheap (may be USCIS should provide us the fair money if they want to test our relationship tongue.png). And K-1s are approved faster just because they make more money off of it simple as that, they dont care for us because they don't see much profit from it.

P.S. I hope u get well soon, I work in hospital lab and I have seen many patients with kidney stone, I can't imagine pain they are going thru, here hoping for your quick recovery :)

I'd be fine with supporting my husband if he couldn't work right away.. As long as he could be here..

Heck, I would pay more for expedited service. I think we all would! If they'd process these things faster (or at least in a humane amount of time) I wouldn't mind them raising the fee one bit. The cost of this waiting is horrible.

I just received an emial form my attorney's office a minute ago... see below....

we have to proceed on your K-3 application because I-130 might take more time than expected. Please let me know the best time you can come to the office so that we can update your previous form I-129F Petition, so that we can file it the same week. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

so, tomorrow I will be visiting my attorney and shipping out the K-3 package. I will post what info I can get tomorrow... I wonder if there is some new info on the K-3
