Also, and you might find this interesting... May, June, July, August and September petitions were routed to Overland Park, KS. A new NBC facility.

I hope something happens this week. I am sure these political represenatatives were not able to do anything with my case but I was in line.

So, I would suggest calling USCIS and asking if the file has been transferred. Maybe, we March filer's petitions are getting sent to local office in batches hence your's maybe in that batch.

Since this waiting is longer than expected and I can't seem to get hold of my frustration and anxiety anymore. So me and hubby planned that I should move down to his home country instead, so that he could come and visit me more often while waiting for the US visa. So guys, do you think this would be a good idea? And I checked some flights too and I noticed that most flight have a stop over in the US, would they allow that one?

Hey guys! Check out your timeline... It seems to be updated... Like the tier 2 and my lawyer told me.. i should be getting something from NBC by the end of October and early November!!!!!!!!!

Just submitted a RFE at the local field office for the copy of Birth Certificate for my wife. I am not sure why they would ask for birth certificate for beneficiary (I-130 does not ask for one), maybe it was one of the required documents in the past?

Anyway, just got to give what they ask but nothing in return. Well, let's see what happens now.

Did Tier2 file one for you? Did you ask? There should have been a series of numbers generated that relates to service request, he/she should have given it to you.

Yesterday there was a conversation on the April thread about whether or not to include the birth cert for the beneficiary.... I am assuming it is better to add it... I did because my lawyer put the package together. He does it with all of his clients. I guess his experience is that it is better to include it instead of lose time with an RFE.

I am confused with your questions...

1. Why should he come and visit you if you move down to his home country? Shouldn't you be both together?

2. Flights for whom? You or your husband? What US stop over has anything to do with the flight?

Personally, I wouldn't move at this point unless you can have someone who can check your mail and if necessary can mail in the documents if requested.

Reason: My file is at local field office and RFE was issued. My status online says nothing...i.e. it can not be found. I found out about RFE only after opening the letter and I was given 28 days to respond.

I agree...most of the local offices are asking for birth certificate so if you expect your file to be at the local office then you should submit the certificate. But again, it might not even be required because USCIS does not seem to have any pattern and they don't even follow their own rules.

I didn't put in my esposo's BC because here on VJ it said it wasn't necessary. Now I'm all freaking worried we'll get an RFE for it. Ugh.

Since we filed from abroad it *shouldn't* get sent to a local office, but who freaking knows. *sigh*

My husband is a dual citizen, he is residing right now in the US but since I can't enter the US just yet because the papers haven't gone through yet and I'm living 10,000 miles away from him and the plane ticket going to my country cost a lot and he doesn't have enough vacation leaves anymore so he told me that I could move down to his home country which is only an hour or two away from the US by plane and the tickets are way cheaper. So that he could also spend weekends with me.
