it's funny (or not so funny) CSC approved this petition in 15 days from what I read.

NBC wants us to wait for 15 months.

but I am happy for their approval.

I'll be honest. I wish I was happy for them. But I just can't be. How is it possible there are still people waiting from Jan/Feb/Mar/etc and someone who applied in September gets approved?

I think if I were that September filer, I'd just come by and fill in my timeline... I would definitely NOT post on a thread. Mostly because Iwould feel bad for all the others who have been waiting 6 months +..

I did read a few posts that said they got a notice that they were transferred to the CSC. So not only does the CSC process the K-1s in a ridiculous timeframe... now they are approving I-130s.. and out of order to boot ! Gotta love our Government !!

Your frustration is understandable. Makes no sense to me either. And the fact that their petition went to the CSC, which last I checked wasn't processing I-130s, is beyond puzzling to me. If the CSC can process a petition so fast, it makes you wonder why in the world USCIS is routing everyone to the NBC and making the rest of us wait so long. I thought they wanted to level the workload amongst service centers??? Very strange indeed.

Glad i found this topic.. 3 weeks ago we' ve received this message ::: Please be advised that weve received a response from our Congressional liaison at the NBC regarding our request. Unfortunately, your application does not meet the eligibility criteria for expeditious processing. Based on staffing and current processing times for I-130s, the wait will be approximately six months from todays date. I wish we could have provided you with a more favorable response. Thank you for contacting our office, and best wishes. :::: Another 6 months again???!! ? This is soo depressing!

Looks like the 16.6 month processing time going forward is right after all, I'm thinking. :(

It seems like everything going to the CSC is being processed very fast. Yet, they aren't routing anything to the CSC, but rather the NBC, because of backlog problems??? Does that make any sense? Huh??
