Welcome! Yes, the process is just taking an extremely long time. I'm now hoping for an approval at 7 or 8 months. That seems to be the current trend.

You're lucky you're with your family abroad while going through the process. I'm with my husband in Costa Rica as well right now. smile.png

7-8 months? If ours gets processed in that amount of time I'll consider it a gift from God and that we're lucky, given the 16.6 month average processing time just for I-130s right now...

I know that was recently posted but I think it's BS, honestly. There's no freaking way in the world it would take that long. Feb and Jan filers are being approved now. That makes me believe that 7-8 months is a good time range.

Are you truly being honest with yourself? I really hope you're right and that it is BS. I don't understand how it could take that long either, but I guess it is. :( I thought we haven't heard anything from Feb and Jan filers yet? Aren't their approvals either not happening yet, or coming in at a snails pace?

I seen the 16.6 months as well. But in order to stay positive, and I believe thats for the people applying now. I figured that when i applied it said national average is 7-8 months, so thats what im going with. 16.6 months is for the August, September appliers......lol. that sucks for them.


Also since February's already getting them, then we cant be that far behind them. What are they going to do, sit back and not work for the next 10 months?

Also, and you might find this interesting... May, June, July, August and September petitions were routed to Overland Park, KS. A new NBC facility.

We might all get approved by Christmas.

We sent out 5 emails to different senators and hoping they will find time to answer that email. To those people who already sent out the letter to there senators, did you snail mailed it or you just emailed it to them?

I sent out a letter to our congressman and they sent me a print screen of the USCIS case status page, I was so frustrated I wanted to cry! I thought my stepdaughters would be here by now. Not sure what else to do. USCIS customer service is awful. They have no idea what the heck they're doing.

Just saw another K1 person get there second approval notice in three months. They filed in June how is this fair and just. Where are the Senator and Congressman that represent us. I know this does not help our process but just wanted to show this record how we are all being push aside. It does look like February files are being processed till the 18 of February then after that very few.
