The USCIS website states they are the 18,000 government employees and contractors of USCIS working at 250 offices across the world.

does that mean they are divided equally??....HAHAHHAHA

I would assume the bulk is here... or do they consider the USCIS a different division since they don't take any federal money. They only use the fees collected.. and BTW... I would have paid $5000 if the papers would have been processed in 6 weeks. I'm sure many others would do the same.

Seriously, we should all get a refund if they go out of the normal processing time. I know that will never happen, but it would be nice. Kind of a flame under their asses

LOL then they will have to refund almost everyone. How would they be allowed to have such a nice job then? I am assuming their working hour is 9-5 and their lunch/break time is from 11-4 eb0dfafc.gif

Well, if they genuinely worked that 3 hours a lot of I-130 would have been approved, considering 15 min per petition that would give 12 petition per person per day. Wow...would have been nice, August filers would have been in line by now. And us the March filers would have had our spouses with us already.

The solution is they hire bunch of agencies to do immigration work and let them compete for our business. Imagine petitioners are free to chose which agency (NBC, CSC, VSC etc) they want to send their forms. Imagine those agencies are working to gain our business. Imagine they have to answer someone?

You get a good service.

Well you do have to include certain chit chat at water fountain and bathroom breaks, so that breaks it down to one hour of work day. still 4 petition per day per person is not a bad deal, but if only right?

Tomorrow marks 6 months for us. :( This is kind of upsetting. *sigh*

I'm the beneficiary.

Want to know what's happening with your case? Here's the USCIS tracking page (get an account and see if the case's been 'touched'!). Don't get your hopes up though, some cases never even appear there despite being successfully processed.

Hope so! The annoying part is how the timeline estimate keeps shifting out of reach lol. Fairly often when i look at mine it says 'some 3 weeks from 'now'!'. And then they come and it's 3 weeks from then again. Ugh.

Yeah no approvals from March yet that were "normal" cases. Usually at least a few get approved within 5 months. *sigh*

I hope so, shinwary!!!!

I know I'm lucky to be with my husband, but man are we ready to move back to the USA. We were all set to be moving by February 2014, and I'll be really bummed if we have to stay much longer than that.
