I received a notification from USCIS. It seems they are starting to transfer some cases due to workload. See below:

From what is mentioned there, this applies just to those that have sent the forms to Vermont Center(VSC).

Hmm, i wonder what the comment 'F2A category for spouses and children of permanent residents' means after the I-130. It almost makes it sound like it doesn't apply to petitions filed by USCs.

F2 category=Spouse, minor unmarried children of lawful permanent residents....

I wrote to my congressman and he (well the aide) finally wrote back and I have to send in a release of information sheet. Gotta say, I'm taking my time with it though. I'm almost 100% sure he'll give me that same "12 month processing time" BS.

I'm hold to talk to a tier 2 rep, current hold time 320 mins . so i went ahead and put myself in the call back number line. Any other march filers with new updates? It seems like the Feb 2013 I-130 people are getting approved, so hopefully by this month or next month for the March I-130 filers.

Not to disappoint you but if the wait time if 320 minutes and it was past 12 when you put yourself in the call back system, no real person will be on the phone by the time you get a call back.

It happened to me once. I called at 3 and my wait time was 267 minutes and I got call back at 8:00 pm. Of course it was just a machine at that late of the day.

I hope next month we will see some movements in March filers.

hi dear everyone..... mine is completed 504 days almost 5 month.... my priority date is march 15 and got only NOA1,, i m badly waiting for my NOA2 wish i can get it soon in few days..........

I filed my 130 in U.S for my wife and son living abroad in march 12 and received my i797c on march 19. Its been almost 6 weeks since i last heard from them. Is this normal wait time or should i call them up? Also, does this make me a march or april filer? Thank you

If you do a Direct Consular Filing (you're filing from abroad), usually processing time is less. But if you go thru the normal filing (youre in the US filing for spouse abroad), then the wait time for NOA2 is usually around 5-6 months. Could be longer/shorter, depending on your luck. You should get NOA2 in Sept I'd think.

Filing in march makes you a March filer.

And med exam for CR1 will be done before the interview as the results have to be brought to the interview.

Did anyone recently get approved? I am getting frustrated it's hard to wait now. It's been almost 5 months but last case updated is still in march .On Monday my case finally going to be discussed with Senator not his staff. Anyone else had good luck with Senators?

5 months is considered short. We got our noa2 nine months after noa1.

Just want to ask if someone had encounter same scenario with us. I'm a mar filer (cr1-nbc). My husband called USCIS for the 3rd time asking for our case status and the 3rd time was on august 12, 2013. The customer service representative told him that everything with our papers seems fine and we have to wait for a few more months for our NOA2 and they told my husband as well that our visa is said to be cleared on January 2014,. Is it possible I mean, well I really hope so.

You'll get the same template everyone gets with the 12 month schpeel. But if I were you, I'd still inquire about it because it can't hurt anything. Who knows.... your fille might be one of the next in line to be processed and it might get put back on top... maybe not but you never know, The advocate I talked to told me you do not lose your place in line and you do not get put on the bottom. It doesn't work like that.
