Hello megan26 my case is from March 22, 2013 and I have also only received a transfer letter to Nebrasca Service Center and nothing else :-( I see a lot of people here that are very advanced in their petition but I keep calling and I get no answers. Are you having the same problem?

Yes I'm having the same problem!!! When I called yesterday they told me they are working on cases from April!!!! But they could not put in a service request because they were backlogged yesterday so I called back today and they put in a request for service and told me once again if I don't hear anything on my case in 30 days to call back again

It's ridiculous i have seen so many approvals for April and may already its like they totally skipped my case

2012-09-25 had our daughter


2013-03-15 appointment with lawyer sent our i-130

2013-03-20 received NOA with priority date 2013-03-19


2013-11-06 received letter case transferred to Nebraska

2014-04-07 1-130 APPROVED

Because you have an MSC #, make sure that your service request gets routed to Nebraska instead of the NBC. I've seen Service Requests getting absolutely no response because they went to the wrong place.

I feel the same way!! I called about 3 weeks ago and put in a request and they told me to wait a couple of weeks since I didn't hear anything I called back yesterday and asked to speak to a tier 2 and I was on hold for almost an hour but I finally spoke to someone they told me they have been working on it but they were gonna put in an expedite since nobody answered my first request!! He said I should hear something in about a week and a half. You need to just skip the tier 1

Congrats, I visited just to see your approval and glad to see it. FYI, it took me 2 weeks to see the "on ... we shipped your case to ...". It may be stated as NVC or DOS, does not matter.

Thank you Hannah PH. I got the NOA2 hardcopy on Monday and it states "The above petition has been approved. We have sent the original visa petition to the Department of State National Visa Center (NVC)." My case was at Nebraska.

1/6/2014: 60 days of transfer are up, put in an e-request, given 30 days' time. Contacted the senator. Senator asked to wait till Feb 6 and if nothing then she will do something.
2/5/2014: Website status changed to RFE.
2/10/2014: Attorney gets RFE. They need G325A and photos of both me and husband, original marriage certificate, copy of marriage record and it's translation.
2/15/2014: Mailed the requisite documents to husband.
2/19/2014: Documents received by husband.
2/24/2014: RFE mailed.
2/26/2014: Case status changed to RFE review.
3/6/2014: After 367 days, NOA2.

After approval kept calling NVC but NVC always had one reply, file was not in their system. Husband too called USCIS National Customer Service Center and was told case was sent to NVC.
4/2/2014: Write to NSCFollowup to know about the status of the petition.
4/10/2014: Put in a ?service request with USCIS starting with OVP to locate case.
4/16/2014: Reply from NSCFollowup that the U.S. law prohibited that office from responding to anyone other than the petitioner and to have the petitioner contact them.

I sent an e-mail on Tuesday to the Nebraska Service Center requesting them to not delay shipping of my case to the NVC as already the approval was more than delayed coming after an year of filing.

i have been having this problems too , filed march 19th 2013, , no updated , case transferred to NSC on nov 6th 2013 , no news no RFE no further info , they say case on processing hold for security check...contacted congressmen , senator , wrote letter to ombudsman.. dunno how to proceed with this.. are there any co -suffers like me, what to do , how to do...have been calling multiple times to get info all i get is run around...just frustrating beyond limits...

Sadly you're not the only one. I have been waiting too with no answers. Same as you all I get is the run around and they keep telling me they are working on it but its very hard being away from your loved ones. :-(

this wens I'm hitting the year of been waiting for an approval it sucks! :( we used to say soon now soon had became into a while and we don't even know what a while is anymore!with all this cases going thru the same and seeing even a FEB filer waiting still it gives me no hopes! cray5ol.gif
