Did you put in service request when your case was outside the current processing date?

My GOD!!! I never thought we would see the day our I-R1 visa was approved. My wife passed her interview today. 344 days after our NOA1(March 18). There were bumps in the road (1 RFE at USCIS, and 2 check lists at NVC) that waisted about 3 months. However, I know there are still a ton of people from March waiting so I can't really complain. I wish everyone the best on your journey.

12/30/2012: Got engaged.
1/16/2013: Got married in India.

I-130:
2/28/2013: Attorney mailed the I-130 from a U.S. address.
3/4/2013: Priority date, NOA1.
11/6/2013: Case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

1/6/2014: 60 days of transfer are up, put in an e-request, given 30 days' time. Contacted the senator. Senator asked to wait till Feb 6 and if nothing then she will do something.
2/5/2014: Website status changed to RFE.
2/10/2014: Attorney gets RFE. They need G325A and photos of both me and husband, original marriage certificate, copy of marriage record and it's translation.
2/15/2014: Mailed the requisite documents to husband.
2/19/2014: Documents received by husband.
2/24/2014: RFE mailed.
2/26/2014: Case status changed to RFE review.
3/6/2014: After 367 days, NOA2.

After approval kept calling NVC but NVC always had one reply, file was not in their system. Husband too called USCIS National Customer Service Center and was told case was sent to NVC.
4/2/2014: Write to NSCFollowup to know about the status of the petition.
4/10/2014: Put in a ?service request with USCIS starting with OVP to locate case.
4/16/2014: Reply from NSCFollowup that the U.S. law prohibited that office from responding to anyone other than the petitioner and to have the petitioner contact them.
4/18/2014: Sent email to NVC Research to locate the case.
4/22/2014: Petitioner sent email to NSCFollowup
5/14/2014: Receive email from NVC Research that they do not have a record of receiving the petition.
5/16/2014: Congressman's immigration caseworker contacted supervisor at NSC who said the petition is pending and will be dispatched in two weeks.
5/27/2014: Petitioner received response from NSCFollowup that the case was pending an internal extended review. Really?
6/19/2014: USCIS case status change, "On June 19, 2014, we shipped this case..."

Call, get a tier 2 to put in a service request. Write the ombudsman or call them. Contact your Senators and Congress people's Immigration Liaisons. Schedule an Infopass appt. These are all things that you can do right now to try to get them moving on your case. Unfortunately, there's no guarantee that it would work. You may also want to research the term Writ of Mandamus and consider filing one.

To all the Feb./March filers still waiting on a case approval do everything in your power to get your approval. As Kaylara stated earlier infopass, Congressman, Service Request, Tier 2 supervisor, etc. BE MORE THAN VERY PERSISTENT!! Best wishes to you.

Tomorrow marks 1 full calendar year since my petition was file on Feb. 27, 2013. Now waiting at NVC for IV to be invoiced...Ready to hear the sweet words of case complete with XYZ interview date :)...

I just want to vent, but then I say there is someone waiting longer and having it worse than I... Oh this process is so...

Well anyways.. Happy 1 Year Petition Anniversary :)..

We filed on Feb. 27, 2013......... "Never in any of my thoughts would I have believed it would take longer than a year to process."

Today, February 28, also marks my one-year anniversary of sending in my petition. I would have got the approval at 11 months had I not received the RFE; still it took them 11 months to look at my petition and now even at an year my petition is not yet approved (my RFE is in review).

USCIS records show that this I-130 petition was received on March 19, 2013 at the National Benefits Center and transferred to the Nebraska Service Center on November 7, 2013.

Your I-130 was approved in 374 days from your NOA1 date.

Got NOA2 Hard Copy March 31st 2014 :thumbs:

File got to NVC on April 14th .. waiting for a case number still

MAY 19 got case number

Paid AOS fee May 21st

Filed DS 260 July 6th, now is on us to get all the documents :)

Sent AOS package and IV on June

NVC RECEIVES PACKAGE ON JULY 22

We got a check list saying my IV package is not there :/??? SEPT 15TH 2014

MEDICAL EXAM OCTOBER 13TH

INTERVIEW SCHEDULED NOVEMBER 6TH 2014.

POE DEC 1ST 2014

NO GREEN CARD YET
