Not many, but quite a few and unfortunately I am one of them; PD Mar 4.

I see you are at almost 11 months #######!!!!! s there ANY reason for this? what are USCIS doing, almost 40% of VJ Juky filers have been approved and even 2 August!

We March and April filers are in a very bad situation, USCIS has decided to severely punish us, and our mistake was we filed during these months.

Yes, in three days' time it will be 11 months for me, but it is not unheard of; one of the Feb filers was approved at 10 months 27 days and some are still waiting beyond that. I don't know the reason for the delay but I have observed files from the NY and NJ states take longer to approve compared to files with the same timeline as their's. Files in my batch got approved/shipped to NVC about 2-3 weeks back. Don't know what USCIS is doing but I do know what they should be doing and what they are not doing. There is nothing to do about this callous attitude of their's, calls, e-mails, senator involvement all useless in many cases.

11/6/2013: Case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

1/6/2014: 60 days of transfer are up, put in an e-request, given 30 days' time. Contacted the senator. Senator asked to wait till Feb 6 and if nothing then she will do something.
2/5/2014: Website status changed to RFE.
2/10/2014: Attorney gets RFE. They need G325A and photos of both me and husband, original marriage certificate, copy of marriage record and it's translation.
2/15/2014: Mailed the requisite documents to husband.
2/19/2014: Documents received by husband.
2/24/2014: RFE mailed.
2/26/2014: Case status changed to RFE review.
3/6/2014: After 367 days, NOA2.

After approval kept calling NVC but NVC always had one reply, file was not in their system. Husband too called USCIS National Customer Service Center and was told case was sent to NVC.
4/2/2014: Write to NSCFollowup to know about the status of the petition.
4/10/2014: Put in a ?service request with USCIS starting with OVP to locate case.
4/16/2014: Reply from NSCFollowup that the U.S. law prohibited that office from responding to anyone other than the petitioner and to have the petitioner contact them.
4/18/2014: Sent email to NVC Research to locate the case.
4/22/2014: Petitioner sent email to NSCFollowup
5/14/2014: Receive email from NVC Research that they do not have a record of receiving the petition.

One definite solution to end this suffering would have been a petition to the White House, which would have required 25,000 USCs to sign it. I read about it here in this site almost half a year back and suggested to members of this thread but it was not taken up; instead a petition on change.org was shown as a better alternative, which I note has not succeeded in bringing about a change for a couple months thus far.

It seems the closer the end gets the less patience I have...

I received and paid the AOS invoice, no acknowledgement of receipt, funds still in the bank acct...

Filled out the 'assignment of agent' no acknowledgement,,,,

both items completed 8 days... both completed online.. makes me wonder if I omitted or committed an ooops....

is this typical for processing times???

In retrospect, I feel like I should have filed K3. I heard / read a lot of 'K3 is obsolete, I 130 is much faster' and decided against it. Clearly, egg and my face were in alignment.

White House petitions require 100,000 signatures for a response.

Thank you, yes they now require 100,000 signatures. Previously up till October 2011, they required 25,000 signatures and before that only 5000 I think. One petition on timely processing of I-130s got only 6000 signatures.

TEXAS is on the BULLSHIT list too.

Nebraska was not like this when the transfers initially started happening. Back then, they approved cases in 2-3 weeks after transfer. I was happy being transferred to Nebraska and thought my approval was coming in 3 weeks or less just like everyone else's and planned for the next stage too (getting the PCC). Been 11 weeks since transfer for me now.

While almost 90% of the cases go through a sequence and have an answer why is it that a few petitions get held up? Looking at the Feb, March and April spreadsheets tells the story....

What could be the reason? Is it because each case is different and requires extended review and additional back ground checks? or is it because some cases are complicated? or is it to do with the beneficiaries nationality? It simply remains a mystery....

Any thoughts on this? Just feel sorry for those being left out in the queue........

Just wondering what could be the reason why a small number of petitions each month get held up with USCIS for an unexplained reason... While almost 90% of the cases go through a sequence and have an answer why is it that a few petitions get held up? Looking at the Feb, March and April spreadsheets tells the story....

What could be the reason? Is it because each case is different and requires extended review and additional back ground checks? or is it because some cases are complicated? or is it to do with the beneficiaries nationality? It simply remains a mystery....

Any thoughts on this? Just feel sorry for those being left out in the queue........

Could previous marriage and divorce be a reason for delay? Or having petitioned for a spouse previously could be a reason for additional checks? Just wondering and don't understand why a small number of petitions from Jan, Feb and March are being held up or by passed........ What could be the reason, because if USCIS needs any additional information they easily send out an RFE and get what is needed.... Just don't understand......
