Contact everyone (both senators and congressman) and start sending emails once a week. At first I was only in contact with my congressman because I thought since he had less constituency he would give me more attention. Boy was I wrong! I contacted my senator and she (well the lady that works for her) has been absolutely marvelous! I'm upset with myself I didn't contact her earlier.

And today is one of those days I'm hating Costa Rica. ARG! I was supposed to be back in the USA by now!!crying.gif

I checked my online status today and read that it could take up to 60 days to approve the RFE or not. I'm so freaking pissed. I'm waiting two weeks then I'm starting emails and phone calls. I've waited long.ENOUGH.ranting33va.gif

I am sure there are filers on this thread that are still not transferred or those that got approved without transfer....Hoping to investigate and see what cases that stay at NBC have in common especially when everyone else seems to be getting transferred, left right center.... This is for months of Feb, March, April, May, June, July for now that have had active regular transfers for all...not just certain exceptions such as Philippine beneficiary. We can add August and after months once it's established that they are seeing regular active transfers as well. Hope you all have some input in this thread http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/475552-non-transferred-cases/ and add your case details on this spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AqbNd1-VjCT-dE90M3pYX0Q4NEZnUXhhSy1PRVlQY3c#gid=0 that is tracking cases that have stayed at NBC (approved or not) and never transferred.

I know it must be frustrating to say, well why mine is not transferred. Hope to find some sense as data collects but knowing USCIS logic...maybe not...but going to try.

Congrats GAFL. We sent in our papers on Feb 28 and had the same priority date as you. Yesterday was my wedding anniversary too and I didn't celebrate. Both me and my husband are very upset and tensed about the whole situation. Some pages back on this thread I consoled someone saying someone in the Feb thread had to wait 10 months 27 days for their approval, hopefully we won't wait that long, but now at 10.5 months even I seem to near that record of late approval.

I feel very bad that your husband missed your baby's birth. I wish you smooth sailing for the rest of the process.

I'm the beneficiary, wife of USC.
12/30/2012: Got engaged.

11/6/2013: Case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

1/6/2014: 60 days of transfer are up, put in an e-request, given 30 days' time. Contacted the senator. Senator asked to wait till Feb 6 and if nothing then she will do something.
2/5/2014: Website status changed to RFE.
2/10/2014: Attorney gets RFE. They need G325A and photos of both me and husband, original marriage certificate, copy of marriage record and it's translation.

2/19/2014: Documents received by husband.

4/2/2014: Write to NSCFollowup to know about the status of the petition.
4/10/2014: Put in a ?service request with USCIS starting with OVP to locate case.

For 8 months the National Benefits Center sat on my file and now the Nebraska Service Center is doing the same for almost 3 months.

On the 61st day of my transfer, I put in an e-request under the 'typographical error on a notice issued' and wrote in description that my receipt date of the I-130 petition was 4 March, but wrongly mentioned in the transfer notice as 6 March and also mentioned that my 60 days since transfer are up and as per the supplement to transfer notice I am to put in an e-request. I know all this doesn't qualify as typographical error, but they did state to put in an e-request and they didn't provide the relevant field for it, so I had to take a shot with this one. Also, the beneficiary can't put in a service request.

Timeline

Congrats GAFL. We sent in our papers on Feb 28 and had the same priority date as you. Yesterday was my wedding anniversary too and I didn't celebrate. Both me and my husband are very upset and tensed about the whole situation. Some pages back on this thread I consoled someone saying someone in the Feb thread had to wait 10 months 27 days for their approval, hopefully we won't wait that long, but now at 10.5 months even I seem to near that record of late approval.

I feel very bad that your husband missed your baby's birth. I wish you smooth sailing for the rest of the process.

Good Evening Dilmera,

I know exactly how you are feeling. EXACTLY! I was one week shy of 90 days of transfer. I did everything up under the sun plus more. I am not sure if any of it worked or if it was just our time to be approved.

All of this was probably started from about May 2013 up until January 2014

I contacted Congressman Ross 3 times.

I contacted Obudsman Office 2 times.

I went to 3 infopass appointments.

I sent an email to Texas Service Center & the Main Service Center.

I put in 2 service request via the 800 number.

I put in 2 e-request via online.

So as I stated earlier I do not know if any of this helped or if it was just our time. I am NOT going to tell you to be patient because we have been and it hurts to not know. I will be sending smooth thoughts and prayers your direction though. Please have your spouse be prepared for the next phase at National Visa Center though because I hear it can go really quick and we could possibly be reunited in 4-6 months.

Happy Anniversary to you both~
