I think mines is near urs. it ends in 027

I don't think so. We both got our NOA1 as the same date but have a difference of about 200 between us. I estimate the difference between your's and blah011's number will be in thousands, but it doesn't matter; just about anyone can get approved regardless of the priority date. We were asking for receipt numbers because they usually work on a particular series of numbers, so if there is activity of cases around me, I too can expect something.

 

 

I'm the beneficiary, wife of USC.
12/30/2012: Got engaged.
1/16/2013: Got married in India.

I-130:
2/28/2013: Attorney mailed the I-130 from a U.S. address.
3/4/2013: Priority date, NOA1.
11/6/2013: Case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

1/6/2014: 60 days of transfer are up, put in an e-request, given 30 days' time. Contacted the senator. Senator asked to wait till Feb 6 and if nothing then she will do something.
2/5/2014: Website status changed to RFE.
2/10/2014: Attorney gets RFE. They need G325A and photos of both me and husband, original marriage certificate, copy of marriage record and it's translation.
2/15/2014: Mailed the requisite documents to husband.
2/19/2014: Documents received by husband.
2/24/2014: RFE mailed.
2/26/2014: Case status changed to RFE review.
3/6/2014: After 367 days, NOA2.

After approval kept calling NVC but NVC always had one reply, file was not in their system. Husband too called USCIS National Customer Service Center and was told case was sent to NVC.
4/2/2014: Write to NSCFollowup to know about the status of the petition.
4/10/2014: Put in a ?service request with USCIS starting with OVP to locate case.
4/16/2014: Reply from NSCFollowup that the U.S. law prohibited that office from responding to anyone other than the petitioner and to have the petitioner contact them.
4/18/2014: Sent email to NVC Research to locate the case.
4/22/2014: Petitioner sent email to NSCFollowup
5/14/2014: Receive email from NVC Research that they do not have a record of receiving the petition.
5/16/2014: Congressman's immigration caseworker contacted supervisor at NSC who said the petition is pending and will be dispatched in two weeks.
5/27/2014: Petitioner received response from NSCFollowup that the case was pending an internal extended review. Really?
6/19/2014: USCIS case status change, "On June 19, 2014, we shipped this case..."
7/1/2014: Case received at NVC.
7/14/2014: NVC case number assigned.
8/1/2014: AOS and IV fees invoiced.
8/2/2014: AOS and IV fees paid.
8/5/2014: AOS and IV fees status changed to paid.

Blah011, I just checked numbers in the same series as mine ending with 054 and I found that your case is not 3000 cases ahead of mine, nor 3000 cases behind mine. God knows how far apart our cases are and your approval or my approval may mean nothing to the other.

you guys are going to drive yourselves nuts looking at the case numbers. VJ is such a tiny percentage of cases at the USCIS. Looking at the last 3 numbers is like looking for a needle in a haystack. I would think you'd have to look at the last 6 numbers. Think about how many cases the USCIS receives daily and not all of them are I-130's, and not all I-130's are the same type. They distribute the cases to different service centers. There are so many things that come into play. Expedites etc....

My packets are sitting here ready to go!!!! Be careful on those roads up there. Your not far from my parents. They are 1 1/2 hrs west of philly. Reading area. Don't miss shoveling and driving in the snow. Tues it's supposed to be in the 30's here. Burrrr that's cold for SWFL!! Stay safe and keep your chin up!

I was doing that as well. It sucks. It sucks really bad. :( I woke up this morning and was going to check my case number, and then I went... Oh wait, I don't need to do that anymore. Hard to break the habits of the past 9 1/2 months. I'm still kind of stunned. Your time is coming, and soon, girl!

Wondering if there is more people out there like me ? I sent of my I130 Petition on March 15 and received a letter saying they received it March 21st then received another NOA saying it was transferred to the Nebraska Service Center the Notice date on that letter was November 7. Ever since then i have not heard anything from them. Is anyone going through the same thing I am or has anyone heard anything?

I sent mines on March 7 and my pd is March 13. On October 30 my case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center and havent heard a thing. I did make a service request on Dec 11 and until now havent heard a thing

5/14/2014: Receive email from NVC Research that they do not have a record of receiving the petition.
5/16/2014: Congressman's immigration caseworker contacted supervisor at NSC who said the petition is pending and will be dispatched in two weeks.
5/27/2014: Petitioner received response from NSCFollowup that the case was pending an internal extended review. Really?
6/19/2014: USCIS case status change, "On June 19, 2014, we shipped this case..."
7/1/2014: Case received at NVC.
7/14/2014: NVC case number assigned.
8/1/2014: AOS and IV fees invoiced.
8/2/2014: AOS and IV fees paid.
8/5/2014: AOS and IV fees status changed to paid.
8/6/2014: AOS and IV packages mailed, completed and submitted DS-260.
8/7/2014: AOS and IV packages delivered to NVC.
8/8/2014: AOS and IV packages put into the system (scanned).
9/20/2014: Get the 60-day email.
9/30/2014: Case Complete!
10/3/2014: Interview scheduled for November 7.
10/20/2014: Medical appointment.

Today it is exactly 10 months since NOA1, am at loss of words for the competence of USCIS and the great service they are providing, just great!!

I am assuming your 60 days have already passed since the case was transferred to Nebraska. Did you or your attorney tried to get in touch after the 60 days to find out what the hell is going on with your case ? And if yes then what did they say? Do they even have a reasonable answer how long more you would have to wait ? btw what does your attorney say?

11/26/2013: Transferred to California Service Center

01/14/2014: Reply to RFE Received by CSC

01/28/2014: Email Update/Txt Received for Approval

02/01/2014: Approval Notice received in Mail

I sent mines on March 7 and my pd is March 13. On October 30 my case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center and havent heard a thing. I did make a service request on Dec 11 and until now havent heard a thing

What is a service request? Mine is about to be 60 days on Monday I hope we hear somethine soon. Keep me updated :)

You mean you spoke to tier 1 and they created a service request on your behalf? Well I called on Dec 31 too and the tier 1 created a service request on my behalf. After talking to a lady I also sent an email to California Serive Center hoping to hear something either via email or that service request.Yesterday I got an email from one of the pfficers saying that I have to wait for 15 days (I am sure he must have seen that I called earlier for the same reason and someone created a request for my cases) before they can find an update. That service request takes priority over the email I am assuming.

Well my 60 days get over on the 26th Jan so I hope .... really hope I hear something positive before that.
