I just spoke to the lady that filled out my paperwork and asked her if there was anything I could do she said no so I said ok how long will it take for him to get his visa she goes 4 to 6 months and now I am seriously depressed. If I knew it would have taken soo long I would have planned to spend new years with him?

I think you are talking about a service that you pay to do your paperwork? No one really knows I just got lucky is the way I see it.

I'm looking at another 8 months after NOA2. I'd like to think it would go faster.. but I have to look at it realistically.

I sent you a PM the other day.. That subject of that message really eats me alive. That is adding to my stress.

Oof, yeah, that's horrible. My mother's friend's neighbor was telling me at a party the one night how he got his wife here in a month on a tourist visa to marry her and that his lawyer said she'd be able to get her citizenship in 2 years. I told him that his lawyer was full of , and what he just told me was that him and his wife had committed immigration fraud. He told him that his lawyer had advised him to take this route, and obviously I should have gotten a lawyer with connections. He'd paid big bucks, that's why he got his mail-order bride here so fast. There were other immigrants at the party, who'd gone through the system who were just as pissed off at this guy as I was. I wanted to punch him right in his self-righteous face.

Instead I told him there was no way that his wife was going to get her citizenship 2 years after entry. Maybe she'll get her AOS by then, but definitely not citizenship. (And the other immigrants backed me up there.) And good luck with that, because if immigration found out what he'd done to get her in the country, was going to be screwed.

Hi guys

For the IV packet that I need to send to them. Do they require the birth certificate and marriage certificate to be an original?

From the website, I see that that Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate, PCC is not required from Pakistan, 2 passport size pictures, passport biography page..is there anything else I am missing that I should include with the IV package? Thank you in advance.

Did you try contacting them? When was your case transferred to one of the service centers? If you cant get any answer on the phone I suggest you send them a certified mail and demand for answers as to why its taking that long. Also you must have received that notice with 60 days notice right ...... attach copy of that and tell them that you were told 60 days so what is happening with the case now and how long you have to wait.

I am April filer and it is simply ridiculous that people who have filed in June , July and even November are being approved left and right. It is horrible.
