Just got a quick response from congressman- he got another reply from TSC that said

"Thank you for your letter, regarding [my name]. The request for additional evidence has not been sent yet. It should be going out within the next 14 business days. "

So awesome. I have to wait 14 BUSINESS days before they even send the damn thing out. *sigh*

Well someone's lying. I honestly think it was the guy today. Since last week when I called the guy told me I did have an RFE but it hadn't been sent. Plus I now have two emails from my congressman saying I have an RFE that hasn't been sent.

They're all useless scum-sucking bottom feeders so whatever. I'm going to call again next week. "Merry Christmas, all I want for Christmas is some damn transparency in your broken system"

obviously the a-holes who answer the phone don't have any useful information other than your case is in process. Someone on the April thread went to an info pass last week and was told his file is at the NSC. Today when he called, tier 2 told him his file is in Kansas local office. They know nothing. Maybe ask for a supervisor next time you call. Tell them you were treated rudely the last time you called. Somebody has to have the correct information...

Today: Called Tier 1's twice. Because the first one hung up on me instead of answering my questions. The second one was a bit confused, and then decided that what I was asking her was, thankfully, not her job. So now I'm waiting for a Tier 2 call back. Huzzah. Callback system tells me 116 minutes of wait time.

About half hour ago a tier 2 agent put a service request for me. I told her they transferred my file to NSC more 30 days. Now I just got a status update says my address was changed. Anyone know what that means? Does that mean they finally touching my file now?

I am not coming to this website anymore IT depresses me everytimd I sse ppl getting approved with the same dates aas me while I dont that ppl is stupid my husband called today and the lady told him they were processing feb filers and of course thats a lie because as we see ppl from april even june and getting approvals

And of course they're delaying the updating of their processing times. One of the geniuses I spoke to today said that was because they were still processing Feb. 12, 2013 filers. *headdesk* I can't even with these people...

I finally got a Tier 2 call back, and got a nearly 10 minute lecture about how I was over-reacting, and should not have even been calling to check up on my case yet, or have contacted my congressmen or representatives. After this was done he informed me I might get an answer by the end of January, or possibly February, or March. He really didn't know. It could even take more than a year. But I should just "enjoy the ride". (OMG, I seriously wish I were joking.)

He also told me to be happy because I didn't have an RFE because that would delay the process further. I said "I'd welcome an RFE, because it would have meant that someone has actually looked at my case. I have no indication that anyone has even LOOKED at my case since it was transferred." Him: "But it would delay it!" Me: "I've already been waiting 9 months. Delay is really a relative term at this point, isn't it?"

Then he asked me if I was going to spend Christmas with my husband, you know, he comes here, or I go there. I responded with: "Well, he's not coming here because he'd probably get turned away at the border, with my I130 petition still pending." He goes "Oh yes, that *IS* true" (No , Sherlock.) "And I have two small children, which means the cost of travel is prohibitive, not to mention how traumatized my kids are going to be when we have to leave Daddy behind again and come home." Him: "Yeah. Well, Merry Christmas."

I'm in. I probably won't even been approved at that point. And knowing them, they won't update their processing dates until sometime next January to avoid having to deal with the service requests.
