Seeing all these approvals is bittersweet. While I'm happy for everyone, it's really hard to watch people being approved who submitted their petition long after you did. I know that's it's based on when the case was transferred at this point but it's still so frustrating.

Yeah I just saw that....while I am sure their situation is more extreme than mine, it is just getting so difficult to remain positive.

For whatever reasons, today I am probably the most upset and angry about this whole process as I have ever been. I am at my desk at work and I just want to cry out of frustration. Just knowing that there is absolutely nothing I can do makes me feel so powerless and I am just really feeling the heartache of not being able to be with the man I love.

Anyhow, that's my vent

I sent a fax to the TSC this morning... Something along the lines of: My Christmas wish is for my I-130 petition to be approved this week. We have been waiting for 8 months as of today.. Blah blah blah everyone in your office gets to spend the holidays with their families. I know I can't be with my husband this Christmas but an approval this week would speed up the process so we don't have to miss any more holidays and special occations together.

Have a great holiday and remember those of us who aren't with our spouses due to the huge backlog at the USCIS...

I didn't sign it but I did provide my case number incase someone with a sympathetic heart might look into my case and maybe do something with it.. ( I can only hope)

And no, I don't think it will help but like everyone else, I feel helpless. I made me feel better as I faxed it !
