It is -6 degrees Celsius in Nebraska and today is supposed to be warmer than yesterday. Hopefully today they work on my file. About 9:20 a.m. there now. I guess office time is from 9 to 5.

 

 

I'm the beneficiary, wife of USC.
12/30/2012: Got engaged.
1/16/2013: Got married in India.

I-130:
2/28/2013: Attorney mailed the I-130 from a U.S. address.
3/4/2013: Priority date, NOA1.
11/6/2013: Case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

1/6/2014: 60 days of transfer are up, put in an e-request, given 30 days' time. Contacted the senator. Senator asked to wait till Feb 6 and if nothing then she will do something.
2/5/2014: Website status changed to RFE.
2/10/2014: Attorney gets RFE. They need G325A and photos of both me and husband, original marriage certificate, copy of marriage record and it's translation.
2/15/2014: Mailed the requisite documents to husband.
2/19/2014: Documents received by husband.
2/24/2014: RFE mailed.
2/26/2014: Case status changed to RFE review.
3/6/2014: After 367 days, NOA2.

After approval kept calling NVC but NVC always had one reply, file was not in their system. Husband too called USCIS National Customer Service Center and was told case was sent to NVC.
4/2/2014: Write to NSCFollowup to know about the status of the petition.
4/10/2014: Put in a ?service request with USCIS starting with OVP to locate case.
4/16/2014: Reply from NSCFollowup that the U.S. law prohibited that office from responding to anyone other than the petitioner and to have the petitioner contact them.
4/18/2014: Sent email to NVC Research to locate the case.
4/22/2014: Petitioner sent email to NSCFollowup
5/14/2014: Receive email from NVC Research that they do not have a record of receiving the petition.
5/16/2014: Congressman's immigration caseworker contacted supervisor at NSC who said the petition is pending and will be dispatched in two weeks.
5/27/2014: Petitioner received response from NSCFollowup that the case was pending an internal extended review. Really?
6/19/2014: USCIS case status change, "On June 19, 2014, we shipped this case..."
7/1/2014: Case received at NVC.
7/14/2014: NVC case number assigned.
8/1/2014: AOS and IV fees invoiced.
8/2/2014: AOS and IV fees paid.
8/5/2014: AOS and IV fees status changed to paid.
8/6/2014: AOS and IV packages mailed, completed and submitted DS-260.
8/7/2014: AOS and IV packages delivered to NVC.
8/8/2014: AOS and IV packages put into the system (scanned).
9/20/2014: Get the 60-day email.
9/30/2014: Case Complete!
10/3/2014: Interview scheduled for November 7.
10/20/2014: Medical appointment.

When did you receive the RFE? If not for the RFE, you would have been approved by now.[/quote

December 9 i just read on uscis .yeah if no rfe ive been approvwd now.did u know how long te hatd copy of rfe will recive and how long is the average time ti be approve after sending the rfe they needed?

I remember someone posting about their RFE response time, but not sure of exact details. I think the hardcopy should reach you within 3 to 10 days and after you mail the evidence they request for and your online status changes to RFE review, it may take a minimum 3 days, maximum don't know.

Are the petitioners allowed to schedule an infopass at the service centers? If it is allowed, maybe you can schedule an appointment and know more about your case since you live in Nebraska.

After my case was transferred in November, I expected to get approved in 15 to 21 days because that was how long it was taking back then. When that did not happen, I hoped for an approval before Thanksgiving; disappointed again. Now, I hope they approve before Christmas. Got my engagement anniversary coming up this month, then it will be my wedding anniversary next month, then two months after that will be my birthday. BTW, the VJ processing estimates state my petition should have been adjudicated by Nov 20 :P.

Mine too. And I've been going through the same kind of timeline as far as the service center goes. I'm pretty certain we're either in the same box on a shelf in Nebraska, or neighboring boxes. I guess they can lie and say that the processing time is improving if they process a bunch of the newer applications and leave us to twist in the wind. The only good news is that they're going to publish the new processing dates within the next few days, and I'm only 3 weeks off being able to write them for a service request as per their letter when they transferred my case. Also, the new letter writing campaign is happening tomorrow, and the last one at least got a response.

Early next year is my 10 year anniversary of being with my husband, and our 8 year wedding anniversary. I'm also going to miss his birthday. And I'm fairly sure that he's not going to be here yet by Easter. We're actually hoping that he'll be here by my birthday. (Mid-July)

Also had sticker shock at the MultiPlaza. How does anyone afford to buy anything there? My phone was priced at $1200.00 I almost fell over...

I contacted my congressman and senator, again. Just got a response from my congressman that they have issued me an RFE, but I got no notice of it in email, online at my status or mail. They said this which makes me think they want more evidence of our relationship? I've been freaking living with the man for over almost three years!

We understand that [my name] submitted a considerable amount of documentation to support the petition. However, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has reviewed the documentation and determined that additional evidence is required. [my name] must respond to the specific requests contained in the RFE in order for USCIS to proceed with processing.
