And no, it's still not easy to say when you've been sitting here for the better part of a year and still haven't gotten your case adjudicated. *hugs* We'll all get through this, eventually.

How do you contact the ombudsman? Would it be the same one since we're in the same part of NJ?

Don't expect a quick answer though. I wrote them in the beginning of Sept. and just got an answer yesterday. Me thinks that the government doesn't understand that email is one of those crazy nearly instant communication devices that doesn't need 6-8 weeks for shipping time. -_-

My status was updated to RFE today. Any idea what they could be asking for? We already submitted our birth certificates as well as both the translation and the original marriage certificate. So depressingggg.

You wont find out till you receive your RFE hardcopy. I hope its something completely easy to sumbitted back to them. On the bright side, someone is looking at your file! People have reported back an approval just days after USCIS receives the RFE paperwork.

You wont find out till you receive your RFE hardcopy. I hope its something completely easy to sumbitted back to them. On the bright side, someone is looking at your file! People have reported back an approval just days after USCIS receives the RFE paperwork.

OK, I just added a comment next to the cell in the speadsheet that needs to be updated. VJ is a great resource and I want to thank everyone for the support that they provide, it definitely made it better to have something to check everyday while we were waiting rather than calling USCIS or checking the status online. Thank you!
