I called uscis to find out why the rfe is for, so that I could get it prepared, they wont tell me or transfer to tier 2. they told me wait until I get the hardcopy for rfe in mail.

I got transferred to the Tier 2 and now waiting for the Callback.

I got transferred to the Tier 2 and now waiting for the Callback.

Nov 19, 2013 : Request for Evidence mail received

Nov 25, 2013 : Documents send in response to RFE

Dec 03, 2013 : NOA 2 ( I 130 approved)

Dec 09, 2013 : Case reached NVC

Jan 08, 2014 : NVC assigned Case Number

Jan 15, 2014 : Paid I 864 (AOS) bill online

Jan 16, 2014 : Completed DS 261 (choice of agent) online

Jan 21, 2014 : Express mailed AOS package

Jan 27, 2014 : Paid DS 260 bill online

Jan 29, 2014 : Express mailed DS 260 civil docs

Jan 29, 2014 : Submitted DS 260 online

Feb 13, 2014 : Received False checklist for civil docs by email

and the operater DID

last time I asked they told that I have to have a reason to be transfered! I could not come up with a valid reason so they refused to transfer me!

11/17/2016: Got engaged
11/28/2016: I-130 sent to Chicago IL lock box
01/12/2016: NOA1

how does the old saying go? Do UNTO OTHERS...right? so, they lie, so why can't we? I always make up a lie and I get transferred right away. Tell them you were told to call back this week and this is the call !

They are ONLY a call center and really have zero info. Tier 2 can see a couple of extra screens but dont' mistake them for USCIS employees. They aren't. And that was told to me by a tier 2 rep.

May 1: Checklist for IV- certified marriage certificate (even though I sent a certified one originally)
July 1: INTERVIEW!!! - APPROVED!
July 16: POE through Miami
July 22: SSN card in the mail
August 30, 2014: Green card arrives in the mail!!!

At least we know now that someone is working on our files.

But I really hoped to get an approval before the end of this month, but now I don't think it will happen.....

We received a text "Request for Evidence" today! Not as great as an approval, but this shows they are processing our case! We are March 18 PD. I was so excited that I cried. Waiting on the snail mail to see what they need.

It's great to hear something though, right?? We used to be at the NBC but got transfered to the NSC. We filed from The Netherlands on March 11th... Guess we were moved for nothing then :-/

Curious to learn what they want to know from you!

Keep trying until you get the right person or make something up, like you're going on a trip and want to resolve the RFE before leaving.

Good luck and keep checking the USCIS website. They seem to now be moving the March filers through. According to the chart, about 25% of them are now approved/processed.
