Yeah when we started this we planned to be done before the holidays. I'm assuming we all have about 2.5 weeks of holiday delays to look forward to on top of a slow process.

Ya, being ex-military, I NEVER tried to push any paperwork for signatures for approval during the holidays because I was afraid it would be lost. So many take vacations and at different times, staggered for "minimal coverage" so it always seemed less than half of the staff would be working at one time. I just hope my wife is here before our first wedding anniversary on Feb 3rd, but that now even seems a bit of a stretch...

Jan 24, 2014 - Received checklist via email (said reviewed DS-260 and instructed me to send in civil documents). I called NVC to verify I can ignore checklist and they said yes, to ignore it.
Jan 27, 2014 - Called NVC and was told that our case is complete and that we're just waiting for an interview appointment date.
Jan 29, 2014- Called NVC and was told that our interview was scheduled for March 10, 2014. Also registered for St Luke medical exam online.
Jan 30, 2014 - Received P4 letter in email.
US Embassy (Manila) / Medical (St. Luke's)
- called embassy every day after the interview, during AP status and after visa status changed to "Issued," asking about status update and visa delivery timeframe
Feb 4-5, 2014 - Wife went to medical exam (took two days), results mailed to US Embassy in Manila.
Feb 7, 2014, Package sent from NVC to US Embassy in Manila (according to NVC phone operator).
Feb 10, 2014 - CEAC website updated case as "In Transit."
Feb 11, 2014 - DHL website shows case as delivered to US Embassy in Manila.
Feb 12, 2014 - Called US Embassy in Manila and interview rescheduled for Feb 25th.
Feb 25, 2014 - "Approved," but we have to submit CENOMAR then wait for visa after it's processed, so I guess technically it's in Administrative Processing (AP).
Mar 17, 2014 - CEAC website, visa status changed to "Issued." Now we wait for pickup/delivery.
Mar 21, 2014 - Juvy picked up visa from 2GO location, got CFO stamp, and I booked her ticket.
Mar 22, 2014 - Juvy left Manila, through Japan and Detroit, and finally onto Houston!! :-)
THE REST OF MY LIFE CAN NOW OFFICIALLY BEGIN!!!

My wedding anniversary is Feb 5th. I don't think my wife will be here by that time, but on a good note I am visiting her in India from Jan 31st to Feb 17. It will be over 11 months since I have seen her.

My wedding anniversary is Feb 5th. I don't think my wife will be here by that time, but on a good note I am visiting her in India from Jan 31st to Feb 17. It will be over 11 months since I have seen her.

Ya, I'll probably celebrate our first a month early. I'm going for Christmas/New Years to visit.

Yeah we were obviously hoping that he would be here by our 1 yr anniv. But since that isn't going to happen we decided to book a trip together. At least it is something nice to look forward to even if it isn't the ideal. He is gonna come to NYC for a week and then we will fly down to mexico together - first time taking a trip together instead of travelling to meet each other.

He has really wanted to go there and when we met he had been planning a trip to mexico with a friend, but they had to cancel....so he went to Vegas instead. I was there visiting family and we ended up at the same concert and started chatting. We thought it would be cool to now be able to go to mexico together biggrin.png

We are missing our 1st anniversary for sure, but at least we will have Christmas and New Years.

I looked at your profile and realized we got married on t he same date yaaay. I too will be missing my 1 year anniversary with my wife because I can't leave until the 15th to go see my wife. As much as it pains me to say this, even Christmas and N.Y. Isn't a guarantee either. The NVC moves faster but USCIS mailed my case last Friday (with it being expedited) and NVC still have not received it. I am hoping to finish out with the NVC by the end of the month and get my interview scheduled while I am in the country. Good luck though.

We just gave up on worrying about this a while back and planned our trips anyways, no telling when the whole process will end. My wife is leaving to see me on the 15th as well, I guess our years schedule is about the same.

All transfers would be good. It could be useful to see if there really is a pattern emerging; might give those of us waiting down the some, albeit false, hope...

I just got back from my Infopass appointment. Here are my question I ask them. First could they see where my application were and they said Nebraska. This was my test question and they were right. I asked if they could tell me how long the processing would take. They said no but they were able to tell me two of my application were starting to be processed. These were the two minor girls but my wife did not show any action as of yet. The next question I asked since I am going to visit my wife and girls next month I will be out of the country. I ask if I get a notice of RFE how long will I have to respond. They could not tell me this then I ask if I got my NOA2 for my family how long do I have to send in the D-230 and Affidavit of support. They could not tell me this either so I asked who could. They did not know where to direct me. I would like if anyone could answer my two questions who has gone through this process. How long did they give you to respond to RFE and how long do you have to submit D-230 and Affidavit of support. I have seen some place that say you have up to a year for the D-230 and Affidavit of support. If this is true please let me know where to find this information. I hope this helps
