And just got my third email from USCIS.

First was Oct 31 "transferred to another office"

Second was Nov 1 "transferred to local office"

And third was Oct 31 (again) "transferred to another office"

I just called USCIS only spoke with tier 1 today didn't HV time to wait for tier 2 today but she told they holding some petitions back not all are getting transfered but I am off wed and I am calling them back to talk to tier 2 rep. PD is march 21

Everybody that has gotten transferred, how long after you got transferred did you know where your case was going?

I got transferred Oct. 31, then received another notice Nov. 1.When I call to find out where it is, nobody knows lol

I got 1st notice on the 24th, 2nd on the 25th, and mail with the service center location on the 31st.

it'll say in the hard copy of the transfer notice. You'll have it in a couple of days.

Looks like all they will do is fool us by transferring the files and then wait begins again, haven't seen a single approval in 5 days.

I called today because I recently changed my lawyer, so they transferred me to I guess a Tier 2 to verify the change. My change did not go through, but got the opportunity to inquire about the case status...the response ....."You will receive notice in the mail because your transfer is not yet complete" So even though I go this notice on Nov 1, " The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you". What then??? what is believable???

i have just called customer service today and they told me that they are still on applications that were sent to them on Oct 1st, 2012 and that they havent exceeded normal processing time for my case. she said that it should take them another 6 to 7 monthes depending on how fast they are. did anyone else got the same info. i dont whether to belive it or not.

They told me the same thing and refused to submit a service request for me. They suck.

If you're outside of "normal processing times" you can ask them to open a service request to have your case looked at. But because they're playing silly buggers with the dates, we can't ask for service requests based on being outside of normal processing times. Looks like they did a good job getting rid of any accountability there was in the system.
