Do you know why the link you provide shows 5 March approvals on 10-22, but this link, http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php?form=2&visa=3&scenter=4&option=2&sortby=2, shows 4 approvals on 10-22? Thanks.

My link has one April approval in the middle.

I'm the beneficiary.

Want to know what's happening with your case? Here's the USCIS tracking page (get an account and see if the case's been 'touched'!). Don't get your hopes up though, some cases never even appear there despite being successfully processed.

Maybe the timeline I linked to takes a little longer to update.

What do you mean?

I think you can ask for help (or see if there are people with this problem) in the forum about site discussion and maintenance (last in the list of forums).

I posted in the Bugs thread twice! So I've made my own thread as I haven't found one that relates to my issue...without going through pages upon pages and threads upon threads!

Thank you, though!

Can someone more knowledgeable than I am please kindly educate me on why I-129Fs for fiances are being processed so fast at the service centers while USCIS kindly decided to send all of our I-130s to the NBC??? What is the reason they can't process everything EQUALLY???? I just don't get it. Why are we all disenfranchised, yet people who aren't even in a legally binding relationship given preferential treatment??? Please someone tell me.

It is a slap in the face..... it makes me sick....

and how many of those K-1s actually get married? And how many actually leave if they don't? Kinda makes me sick... especially with the reform right around the corner.... No chance of getting deported.... not here....

I would love to know why they are dragging their a$$es on processing the I-130's. I thought about the NVC being back logged and maybe they wanted to give them a chance to catch up... The k-1's are just like the K-3's... they only get a case number at the NVC then go straight to the embassy... maybe that is why those are getting approved so fast. Just a thought.... because nothing else makes sense.

Hello all - I am a fellow March 2013 filer and its been almost 7 months, no updates or transfers yet.

My question is - Are any of the March filers considering applying for a K-3 visa now? Has anyone filed and been approved? I just checked the processing times at USCIS and it states 5 months for VSC. Wondering if it even makes sense at this point to apply for a K-3........

My husband and I are considering it. It would mean a great deal of financial hardship on our part, but frankly, I miss my husband, and it's breaking my heart to have to keep telling my sobbing hysterical four year old that she can't see her father because the government people are a bunch of a-holes. (in a nicer way, of course, but that's what it boils down to.)

No, this far into the process, I'm going to see it through. I think the end result of the cr1 will make things easier in the future.

We thought so to, with the IR1. But my children need their father and I need my husband. We can get through anything if we're together but this forced separation with no end in sight is torturous. Seriously, if we had an actual timeframe (other than maybe we need to wait another 8 months, #######?) that was reasonable, then we wouldn't even be considering it. We thought that the entire process might take a year. Now we're looking at the possibility of 2 years or even more if the NVC delays things as well. It's not at all how we want to go, but we're starting to think we may need to do it because our timeline, etc. right now has no end-date or one that's a ridiculously long time away.

Yep. And really, just think. We're all waiting to see what happens to those transferred filers. We'll wait, possibly, week after week, expecting this is the week something happens. The same thing happened with Overland Park, at least for me. I thought it was impossible that this new division 8 would sit idly by as petitions kept piling up, but that very thing happened.

You really must set a cut-off date in your mind as to when you will act, or else the weeks become months. I really, really hope I'm wrong, and those service centers make processing transferred I-130s a priority. In reality, is that how it will go down? Will they really process them as priority, knowing that the NBC has an assload more petitions to send over as soon they finish? I do not want to be negative, but I am not so sure the transferred cases will zip right out of the service centers. And when exactly will division 8 start churning out approvals?!?

I do not mean to be pessimistic. Let's just not get too comfortable with the system as it is now. We must keep up the pressure. Visit the links in my signature, folks!
