If you do some searches on uscis case status..receipt numbers MSC13907116XX, you will see cases being transferred with today's date. Btw, these were all March 4 PD.

6/19/13 - call from senator office

7/8/13 - Case show up online as Initial Review for the first time

10/24/13 - Case transferred email (transferred to other USCIS office)

10/25/13 - Case transferred email (transferred to local USCIS office)

10/28/13 - Hard Copy transferred mail (CSC)

10/30/13 - Case update email (transferred and is now being processed)

11/4/13 - Case was Touched

11/22/13 - Received NOA2 via text/email (CSC) Moving on to NVC

Hi everyone! We just joined the forum after reading quite a bit here and getting a lot of helpful information from it. Thought we should share some of our infos.

We are March filers, PD March 4, and received the message today that our case was transferred to our local field office. So it looks like they are moving on to transferring cases filed in March.

Oh we are almost the same. My priority date is March 1st and just got transferred too today. I received the text message early this morning. My status changed in 2 consecutive days. Happy to hear March filers cases are moving. We waited too long.

That might be really good news for all the transferees now, I think.

My case was approved on September 5th and still not at NVC. Every day I call I hear from every rep that it takes up to 8 week to receive the case.

Yep, apparently they ship them in batches. How often is the question. I wonder if getting approved at the end of the month would make a difference..

Yep, apparently they ship them in batches. How often is the question. I wonder if getting approved at the end of the month would make a difference..

Well another 7 days left for 8 weeks to complete since my case was approved. I contacted my Senators office according to them USCIS told them after case is approved a supervisor have to sign it off. USCIS said they will be sending the file to NVC soon. I hope they ship the damn file out!

got email from USCIS at 6:45PM PD March 6

On October 24, 2013, we transferred this case I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN to another office for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action. Please follow any instructions provided on the notice. We will notify you by mail when a decision is made. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

I also got a notification that our petition was transferred to another office on 24th Oct. Our NOA1 was March 5. Well, let's see what happens now. Waiting for the hard copy to find out where they sent it. At least now i know they didn't lose it altogether. :)

here it is a March 4th not transferred

As i keep telling people since you don't know the details of this particular case you can't know if it was even supposed to be transferred. They're transferring I-130 for immediate relatives filed by USCs. This could be something else. All those reports about transfers do look like a trend to me.
