Hi,

My ex and and have just been through a very bitter court case where he has tried to stop me moving to the US with my children to marry my fiancé. The court granted me permission to move and we are waiting for our interview date from the embassy.

However, my ex has a history of making unsubstantiated allegations about me (eg to the legal aid commission, etc) and I suspect that he may try and do the same with the embassy.

I have not got anything to hide but I wonder if anyone has any experience of this and if there's anything I can do to find out if he does this or to stop him?

If you have a Court Order that is all the Consulate will care about.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
