POLICE CLEARANCE FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY (K1-VISA) INTERVIEW REQ'

What if you cant provide Police Certificate because you cant go back to that Country like Saudi Arabia, because your contract has ended , and the only way you could go back there is if you have a job offer, and they need a personal appearance for the Police Certificate, so you cant really ask somebody else to get it for you...... anyone had similar issue like this?

Are you actually talking about Saudi? If so, you don;t need clearance if you are not a Saudi national and do not live in the country anymore: http://travel.state.gov/visa/fees/fees_5455.html?cid=9727

thanks for the confirmation, we've been both worried about this, because she's not in Jeddah anymore, her contract just got done and now we're just waiting for our MNL#, really thanks!!!

Hello... I worked in dubai too for 5 years... So i emailed the embassy about PC and this is their reply:

Because police clearances are not available to non-residents of the United Arab Emirates, applicants who are no longer residing in any of the emirates are not expected to produce them.

Im just not sure if this apply for Saudi Arabia too. You can email them here: IVManilaReplies@state.gov

yeah, the lady from the top forum replied with a link, and when i checked it, Jeddah is covered as well as it is part of Saudi Arabia...thanks for info though.

Saudi Arabia is one of the exception countries, USEM knows you can not get a police certificate from there.
