How long does it take before we will able to know our case number?. It's been more than 3 weeks since we got approved by USCIS but until now our case hasn't reached to NVC yet. My fiance calls NVC once a week but they keep saying our case is not yet there yet.

IMO, about 11 calendar days after the casefile hits the shipping dock at NVC.

Currently.

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

First, what is IMO?

Second, 11 calendar days? Our case has been approved more 3 weeks ago. And until now we still haven't heard anything from NVC.

IMO, about 11 calendar days after the casefile hits the shipping dock at NVC.

IMO=in my opinion

case files are loaded and available around 5-6 weeks after approval.. there is a little slowdown at nvc these days .. they will quote you give us 8 weeks to log it in

We got approved March 28, and NVC didn't create the case until June 10.. I'm doing the IR5 now, but it should be about the same..

I-130 STAGE 1 : 533 days - 1 year 6 months (4/16/2007 to 9/22/2008)

Priority Date I-130 : 4/16/2007 ( 533 days , APPROVED 9/22/2008)
Transferred to local office based on "security checks" : 11/27/2007
wrote hundreds of letters - received letter from FBI Records Management Chief stating no security checks
local office interview : 2/21/2008 - brought my parents too (result : you will get approval within 2-3 weeks)
5/2/2008 - (lawsuit) Writ of Mandamus - OFFICIAL DATE (7/29/2008)
9/22/2008 - CALL AND EMAIL COPY OF APPROVAL NOTICE FROM LAWYER

NVC STAGE 2 : 99 days - 3 months (9/30/2008 to 1/7/2009)
NVC Received : 9/30/2008
Received Packet 3 (I-864/DS-230) : 11/10/2008
NVC says "RFE sent out 12/9/08 for missing documents" : 12/10/2008
CASE COMPLETE - 1/7/2009

Interview Date : 12/9/2013, originally 12/3, stupid lawyer filled out her dad's passport number wrong..

Interview Passed : 12/9/2013

Visa "Issued" on CEAC : 12/10/2013

We were 8/7 NOA2 and my fiance got her letter from the embassy (P3) on 8/28. Case was created on 8/21.

I would expect you'd have a case number any day.

3/15/2013: NOA1 Received (VCS)

7/10/2013: Transferred to TCS
