My fiancé had his fiancé visa interview on August 5th and it was approved. We have been in administrative processing on CEAC since August 6th with no information whatsoever from the embassy or DOS as to why. Yesterday our status on Ais.usvisa-info.com changed from "attend interview" to "check DS-260 status". I am aware the embassy has just recently added this form to the list of forms required to apply for the fiancé visa but I don't understand what it has to do with our case. We have tried calling the embassy, DOS and even gotten my senator and districts congresswoman involved and so far no one has been able to help us. Does anyone know what this status could mean or experiencing a similar situation? I have no idea why we have been in AP for so long, my fiancé has a very British name with no criminal history or anything like that. We don't know what to do from here
