Marvin ... This is about who's side should we be on in this war.

A young Syrian Christian woman told WND through Open Doors that before the war, Christians were on the fringes. She said that now they’re rebel targets.

“We Christians have no voice in Syria. We are people of the margin. But on the other hand I see that Christians now started wearing a cross, to show that they are Christians,” she said. “In some areas, for example in Homs, Christians were spared because of being a Christian. Now Christians are seen as with the government and can be killed.”

She said she fears retribution from the rebels.

“Whatever we did as Christians, we will be blamed for that, I fear. We will be punished. Before the crisis the government protected Christians, now I am afraid for our lives,” the Syrian Christian woman said.

Who are the good guys Marvin. ? We have been talking about crossing the "red line" for weeks now....

Syria.....who are we helping in Syria,,, You were concerned in the last election about Romney and the war on women..... here is a view to refresh some memories....".There is a real perception among women that Republicans are not the party that will do what is best for them or what is best for the country. Women vote. And this disillusionment with Republicans can only grow if they keep up with policies that undermine women's health, women's safety, and women's competitiveness in the job market. "

Where are the liberals on this issue... Gang rapes of women of all backgrounds in Syria...The very group your president want to put in power. ,Who should we be supporting in this war? This is what this is about ... Not an attack on your religion.

The liberal elite ... know that the people simply cannot be trusted; that they are incapable of just and fair self-government; that left to their own devices, their society will be racist, sexist, homophobic, and inequitable -- and the liberal elite know how to fix things. I'm wondering what the Kenyan has to do with this. He's really to blame for everything.

Well, according to the people silly enough to call him a Kenyan anyway.

Personally, I'm more concerned about people being killed here every day. If folks are so concerned for human life, invade Chicago, Okaland, or even Saint Louis. How about we fix what's broken in our own house before we go over to someone else's.

No, what you smell is someone who is sick and tired of being huddled in with the trash. If a Catholic Priest is a pedophile, that has nothing to do with the religion. That's all on him. I can tell the difference, can you?

It's bad enough being black gets you all types of stereotypes and as a people I have to carry whatever issues happen within the community on my shoulders. But being a black Muslim? Good Grief.

What about African countries that cause atrocities without using religion as a excuse? What about the wars that happen in Eurpoean countries in the name of Christianity? Like I said, go talk to the folks like WOM or Sarah. All you want to do is bash Islam.

So this particular cleric sucks right?

Let me help you out on this one. Neither.

Any cleric that okays rape, I have a problem with it.

Most logical people would. Religions are made up of people just like anything else. And just like anything else, some people are in it for the wrong reasons and say whatever they want.

What are you smoking? How many times did priests get reported and not a single thing was done? How many were shuffled around and moved to other churches to keep molesting children? How many times did the higher ups step in and protect their own?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catholic_priests%27_sex_abuse_scandal

It's been going on for the last 50 years.

And many muslims are outraged and upset anytime someone kills or commits atrocities, but those voices get drowned out over this dribble.

You know your Anti -Catholic rhetoric really well.

How 'bout demonstrate Your Anti - Islamic Fundamentalist rhetoric with equal enthusiasm?

Biased hypocrisy fueling denial & defensive attitude....wow...kinda mirrors the "Catholic" response.

I spent 38 years as a catholic. I just converted over in 2011 when I was married to my wife. I know more about the bible than I do the Quran sadly enough. But I know that the priests caught in those scandals don't represent the catholic church as a whole. When was the last time a church was burned or destroyed because of the scandal? Has a priest ever been removed from a plane for wearing the collar and robe? I say this because these are the realities that muslims face every day due to 9/11 or any other atrocities that are caused by someone who claims to follow Islam.

I don't have to demostrate it here. Lost and those who think like him do it every day. I just do my duty as a good person not to follow that path, which is what God fearing person should do.

This is what I have been saying about Syria all along. It's all-out sectarian warfare because the US, EU, Israel and Saudi Arabia have chosen the Sunni-supremacist rebels as allies. This has nothing to do with democracy and everything to do with weakening our enemies. We have been supplying them and training these terrorists for more than 2 years. The Assad regime are no angels by any means and shouldn't stay in power, but if you think the so-called "Free" Syrian Army would provide a better alternative, you're smoking something truly rank. It's not that hard to read between the lines. When they say "Free" Syria, they mean a Syria free of non-Sunni or non-Muslim infidels. Why were the reportings of the UN obervation mission never made public? Because the observers, several of whom I know personally, cast too negative a light on the rebels.

Every day they went out to do their jobs they were threatened, shot at, robbed, and their vehicles were ransacked. A whole group of them were kidnapped by FSA after their car rolled over an IED and the lone Yemeni officer in the group was subjected to a mock trial and mock execution by a true Al-Qaeda militant who had previously been in Yemen fighting government forces. This same Yemeni was forced to give an interview on AlJazeera saying they were being well-cared for, but the man behind the camera had a loaded gun pointing right at him. I know that Yemeni officer personally. Thank goodness he left Syria alive, but he hasn't been the same since. The observers found it awfully convenient too that the day before every UN security council meeting on Syria a massacre happened. They never found a shred of evidence that the regime was behind the wanton murder of civilians then. But there was plenty of evidence the more fringe elements in FSA and their allied groups were behind them.

It's not that simple but it's a convenient way to rile up the extremist militants for our personal gain.
