OMG!!!! I am sooooo excited as I have just called DOS and was informed that my fiance's visa was issued today!! Finally, it has been a long time coming but now we can finally book his ticket for him to leave JA! I screamed on the phone with the rep when she informed me as I couldn't hold my composure! Can't wait to see my hunny at the airport when he arrives!

I am so happy for you both. Thank GOD. That was one of the most exciting days of my life also.

@saraht: well the process for my fiance and I was 10 months total from sending off the I-129F to visa issuance. We sent off our package in November 2012 and received the approval from the uscis in may but that was with help from our congressman since at the time the Vermont service center was moving slowly on fiance visa petitions. The NVC received the petition in 10 days and than it was received by the embassy at which his interview was scheduled for July. He was approved but received a (221)g due to a doc missing and he scheduled an appt to bring it in the following week at which he was given directions to track his passport with DHL so he could pick it up when ready. Afterwards we were in AP for a total of 6 weeks and this is the 7 week and the visa is finally issued. It has been a truly long wait but well worth it to see my babe and be with him together!
