On September 6, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

when does the file gets sent to NIGERIA

what is the next step after this approval

how soon can my wife get an interview in Nigeria

Congratulations. Your petition is going to NVC to get a case#. Start calling them monday. Don't be discouraged when they say it takes 8 weeks. Some are reporting about 3 to 6 weeks.

Just call now and than to get your case#. Than you will email the embassy at lagosiv@state.gov to get further instructions to pay visa fee, go get medical, etc..

You should be on the embassy website downloading your forms to get that all done if you haven't already you have a few weeks so get it all done so you can get interview date faster.

i got this today.

On September 11, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.
