Hello all!!

Questions!!!

We just got married on 8/17 yay!!!! My husbands I94 expiration date is 9/21/13 but we are traveling to Florida (not leaveing the states at all)

for a few days for vacation but Im afraid we might have some trouble since his date will be past. Does this still matter since we got married last month and are filing for AOS etc..? or what should we do?

thanks

You shouldnt have any problems at all. I was married at the start of April and im currently going through AOS but weve already travelled a few places and no problems. Because its within the country, once you land at another state, you dont go through immigration, you literally just walk into the terminal. I used my UK passport as ID but my husband for instance just used his drivers or military ID. They only check the ID when your going through secruity to board your flight. When you arrive, you just walk out.

You can take your marriage license if you want just to be extra sure and any other documents but you should be fine. I live in FL and have been to AZ, GA and LA with no problems.
