IR-1/CR-1 Visa 6 Months of Processing, is it still followed?

Hi everyone can you please make some comments on this topic? Does USCIS still follow this time frame? My papers are on their 6th month on the 29th of this month. There's no request for RFE it means our papers are all complete. Is there a possibility that our papers be approve this month?

I am on same boat as you. Every time I call USCIS they tell me to wait 6-8 months, so you might or might not get approve this month. They are taking almost 8 months to process, so I am hoping either end of october or beginning of November. And you can still receive RFE, they probably haven't even looked at files pending from march.

Why are they taking too long to process our papers? My friend's papers (I-130) were approved in just 3 months & it just took her 8 months to complete the whole processing. What are the additional RFE they're requiring? Thanks guys!

if you can find out exactly where your petition is, you will be able to get a better understanding of your individual timeline.

it is most likely at your local office now.. the local office is where the great variables come into play

if you read through the guides already and have done a good job assembling your package, then don't worry, ask or stress about other people's rfe's .. rfe's are the exception not the rule for those of us who put together a decent package

Just keep up the faith! We're praying that ours will also be approve this month (as my birthday gift). The Lord will be gracious to us all!

not even remotely possible.. csc is a service center and doesn't do 130's for over a year now

Not yet we dunno how can we transfer our case in SF. How can we do that? Do we need to call the USCIS or the National Benefits Center? Thanks for the big help!

yes you need an IO to access the various screens to tell you this

some IO's are not helpful with this process. it will be about a dozen screens to scroll through. you may have to make several calls to get the correct information.. if they immediately answer you as to where your file is.. for example its still at msc.. then they probably didn't check the screens and are speaking out of their you know what
