Consulate doesnt schedule the interview!

I am not sure this is the situation with 'Mumbai', India consulate or with everyone. They have our case since 15 days and they are not scheduling the interview. We have no idea whats going on. Tried to reach them and they say that they are working on 'new visa appointments', dont know what that means.

I have had a very hard time getting in touch with the New Delhi embassy also. I have been just contacting DOS directly as they have access to the information that the embassy puts in their system. They cannot really answer any questions for you but, at least they can tell you when your case has been updated. Their number is 202-485-7600, Good luck!!

u need to email the us embassy and ask them to pls update ur status thats what i do,after 3 days i received email from them and got my new schedule...
