What to do with the old green card?

So we just received the approval letter from USCIS for the removal of conditions for my wife yesterday. It was approved without an interview. In the letter, it says the new green card will arrive in the mail in a couple of months. If we get the new card in the mail and if there is not going to be an interview? Where , where and how do we turn in the already expired green card? Thanks!

11/15/2010 Received NOA1 in the mail
02/04/2011 Requested expediting of case for military deployment
02/11/2011 Expediting request approved
02/22/2011 Received expediting request approval letter in the mail
02/28/2011 NOA2 Document Received in the mail
02/28/2011 NVC received and case # assigned
03/01/2011 Case sent to Embassy
03/04/2011 Case received at the Embassy
03/09/2011 Embassy sent Packet 3 via mail (we did not wait for it, downloaded forms online)
03/15/2011 Sent Packet 3 to the Embassy
03/18/2011 Embassy received Packet 3 in the mail

Aug 28,2013 - Email Received Stating LND # (They Sent Packet 3 on August 27th)

Aug 30,2013 - Packet 3 Received and Sent (DS-230 Part I and II, DS-2001, and Cover Letter)

Sep 4th, 2013 - Medical

Sep 19, 2013 - Packet 4 Received

Sep 27,2013 - Interview - *approved*

Oct 02,2013 - Passport Packet Received (3 working days)

Oct 11th, 2013 - POE Los Angeles

Oct 21st, 2013 - SSN Received
Nov 14th, 2013 - Greencard Received

July 10, 2013 I-130 sent

July 12, 2013 Notice of Receipt (NOA1)

July 22, 2013 NOA2 approved (10 days)

August 8, 2013 Packet 3 sent but never received.

August 15, 2013 Received case number after enquiry. Booked medical and sent packet 3 forms.

August 31, 2013 Medical

Sept 18, 2013 Packet 3 forms logged into the system

Sept 24, 2013 Packet 4 received (dated September 19)

October 4, 2013 Interview *approved*

October 9, 2013 Passport received

November 12, 2013 POE Los Angeles

November 22, 2013 Social Security Number received

December 20, 2013 Green Card received.

 

Removal of Conditions:

September 4, 2015 I-751 sent

September 8, 2015 NOA

October 8, 2015 Biometrics

April 22, 2016 Approved

My husband kept his old green card till the day he became a citizen. He gave his two green cards to the IO at his citizenship ceremony (the green card has to be turned in at the oath ceremony.). :)
