Hi,

This is in preparation, in case, NVC asks us to submit DS260, instead of DS230.

We have questions to those who have submitted DS260.

1. Does DS260 form similar to/the same as DS230 as far as the questions?

2. Is the DS260 requirements as far as the documents to submit similar to DS230? If there are new requirements, can you tell us what they are?

3. How do you submit the documents? Soft copy? or do you have to send the documents separately to NVC? Curious about the process, e.g. how one ties the documents to the DS260 that you submitted online.

4. If there is DS260 form instructions, please let us know.

Thanks in advance.

Firesp22dr, thanks for the fast reply.

In your case, you submitted the supporting documents with DS230.

Does the DS-260 allow you to submit a soft copy of the documents?

Curious, how it would work going forward when we only have to submit DS-260.

Good luck with your petition!

You have to send your civil docs via snail mail. A lot of people here already called NVC and they want all documents mailed. You might wanna call them and double check again.

Thanks.

When you send the documents via snail mail, would a cover letter with your NVC and Invoice number be sufficient to tie it to your case? Or, do you get some type of cover letter once you submitted DS-260 online?

You can print your cover sheet once your IV application is paid.

"Have faith in God, Jesus answered. I'll tell you the truth. if anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself to the sea, and that does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen. it will be done for him. Therefore I'll tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (MARK 11:22-24)
