Thats what i am thinking.. before they reviewed it again.. if they reviewed it and still not fill up the ds-260 they give you a checklist again to fill up and thats another delay again.... so before they will reviewed it again the checklist im gonna fill up the ds-260 online tonight.. hmm

I'm furious right now, I just called NVC after practically waiting 20 business days after submitting my DS-230.

Sorry yer having troubles.

Was another wash of cr@p, with the I-864 change, earlier this summer.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

I'd call them again, I reviewed your timeline and I can say that I sent my DS-230 before you did and got nailed. I basically was on my 16th business day of processing, Worse thing that can happen and probably will happen is that your're getting another checklist to submit the DS-260 thus adding another month or more to process. I called twice in one day, both times spending 25+ mins on hold to verify that information (09/10/2013). Just call and ask for status updates on the DS-230, maybe you're lucky, but I've read that even with an approved DS-230, some embassies might request the DS-260.

Thats what i am thinking.. before they reviewed it again.. if they reviewed it and still not fill up the ds-260 they give you a checklist again to fill up and thats another delay again.... so before they will reviewed it again the checklist im gonna fill up the ds-260 online tonight.. hmm

I've attached a picture of the checklist I received the day after my call to NVC. Somewhat confusing because it states that they received my DS-230 awaiting response to the checklist of my affidavit. Does it mean that my DS-230 was accepted? Who know but I still sent in my DS-260 (because they also requested it) the day before (09/10/2013). Hope this helps.

NVC received my IV packet (DS-230, original civil docs & copies) on 4th September 2013.

I got a checklist today about filling out DS-260 online and submit it.

I called NVC today and the CSR told me that you DO NOT required to submit DS-260 online as we are reviewing you case right now, wait till NVC to find any document missing/ need additional documents, then NVC will send another checklist asking for the missing document and submit DS-260 online.

Anyone had the similar experience?

Has your case updated lately? I'd like to hear your case, did you finally sumbit your DS-260? The previous member submitted his DS-230 before you and later submitted his DS-260 and was recently case complete. Thanks!
