Well......US Embassy received our paperwork on 9/4. We have no idea when or how the interview will be scheduled....

Does anyone know how the process works from here??

Did you receive packet #3? From the looks on your timeline the Embassy got your file from NVC. You need to wait for the embassy to contact you via e-mail with packet #3. Just give them sometime. It is only the 10th and they just got your file on the 4th. Once you get packet #3, forward it to your fiance. There is still so much more to do! When you complete everything then it will be time for you to contact the embassy to schedule interview. I will say your interview will take place in about 2 months......

Good luck!

Well..... Yes, 2 months will be my approximate guess. You need to complete packet #3. You CAN NOT schedule interview without your fiance completing was requested of him. Meanwhile you will need to start preparing last 3 years of income taxes w/w2 forms, letter from employer stating that you are a "permanent" employee plus salary, gather copies of your last 4 pay-stubs copies or payroll ( that will work too) and your affidavit of support ( I-134 form). Once you have all these mail it to your fiance, he will need it for the interview as well. You are also going to be receiving packet #4 ( this is the letter your fiance will need to bring to the Doctor's office when he goes for his medical!

As you see you guys still have quite of work to do before interview.

Good luck!!!

I am so ready for this part of journey to be over..lol I already ALL of that information and just waiting to send to him. Do you know if I will need to sign a new "Intent to Marry" letter? I think I will send that to him as well, just to be sure in sha Allah.
