My husband and I got married last year but due to financial issues, we are only able to file for my AOS last August 29, 2013. Last year, I already got the whole AOS package prepared. I know it was very stupid of me to not to check if there are new versions of the forms that we filled up.. I just sent what I prepared last year and only added up my husband's employment letter and current paystubs. And now that I am browsing this forum, I found out that there are new forms for the I-864, I-131, and I-465.. Now I do not know what to do.. Am I in trouble now??

You can go to the USCIS website to see if older versions are accepted. The I-485 allows older forms to be accepted, but the I-131 and I-864 form must be the most recent. I would say they will send back your entire package and you can get the new form and resubmit. Otherwise they will accept the package and at some point either require the new form or deny the package and you are out the money. Either way you are looking at having to redo the forms, so you might want to download the most recent version and get to work.

Good luck,

Dave

I called USCIS today and they told me that they will just issue an RFE and will not return the whole package,, what a relief! :)
