Please help if you know anything about this...My Finacee and I are scheduled for her Visa interview at the US Embassy in Tegucigalpa, Honduras in 2 weeks. She went for her medical exam today (with her 6 year old son, who is coming to the states as well as a K2 visa). The lady at the Medical Exam office said that they could not provide the exam for her son, since his name is not actually listed on the Case letter. She said that we will have a problem at the US Embassy when we go there for the interview, and that her son will not be permitted to go. Obviuosly, my Fiancee freaked out, as did I , this close to the interview. The lady finally agreed to do the exam for her son, but told her we will have problems when we go to the interview.

I called the NVC in the US and gave them the NVC Case number, and the lady told me that he IS listed under that case number. But now I'm really worried. I am going to call the Honduras embassy tomorrow, but it is so difficult to get anyone there, as there is only a 2 hr window when you can call, and only on 2 days a week, so I imagine everyone is trying to get through. Does anyone have any insight into this? Does his name have to be listed on the letter? If so, any ideas how i can get this fixed fast? The lady at the NVC didn't seem concerned and said that he is there listed under that case number.Pleas help if yoiu know anything about this!

I would go with the information the NVC gave you. Also, try to get in touch with the embassy via email, that way you can have a copy of their response in case you need it.
